If your comfortable with DIY I would do that. I bought some rw-150s before I started the diy also, now I'm hooked on the diy and want to keep building, also I am a sign builder and work with LED. I love these little glowing diodes.

If you added 4x30 watt cxa3070 would be enough; but you could go over board like I like to and throw 4x50 watts.

I am fairly comfortable. Its just a matter of keeping all the numbers straight. It's still a lot of research at this point and luck it seems, trying to find the cxa3070 3000k AB's. That and the appropriate drivers. But, I think the Mean Well LPC-60-1400 driver Captainmorgan is using should work or LPC-35-1400

The LPC-35-1400 will not work with the cxa30**'s as it only has an output of 9-24v, the cobs require a Vf of around 36 typically and can run up to 42v according the the spec sheet from cree.

The LPC-60-1400 will work

Just pulled the trigger on a rw75. Should get to me later this week. Looking good! What do you think, about 2 more weeks?

Congrats, by the looks of it, you shouldn't be disappointed. 2 Weeks and a few days most likely. I'll probably assess how many more days are left when I return from the SF cup.

Yeah i think i've seen enough A51 grows to not be disappointed. I bet that cup is gonna be bomb. Enjoy. Just got me order in from the tude today. Kinda mad the blue cheese freebie is crushed. I was looking forward to that one. Think they'll replace a freebie? ha

Should be interesting, my first cup. Actually they should replace anything that got crushed? I think? Email them with pictures, ask for a resend, and stealth options (aka shirt, etc) to prevent it getting smashed. They may ask for you to send the crushed bean back though.

Sounds like it would be. Gotta buddy that lives in CO so i hear it's insane. I got stealth shipping this time but i chose the mug instead of the t-shirt option like i usually do. Just my luck it's also the first time i got a crushed seed from them. Guess i'll give it a shot and see what happens. So what's next after you're finished with this grow?

The next project will be 2, 5 gallon grows. One will be Bodhi's Sunshine Daydream and the other will be either TGA's Ace of Spades or Cuvee.

Sounds like i'm gonna be subbed for that grow too. Those genetics sounds like winners to me. Might have to start me a journal now. Got some bomb genetics i'm ready to run after i finish my current grow. TGA, Bodhi, GGG :mrgreen:

Nice. I almost picked up some GGG, one of the Grape Stomper varieties, but I figured I had enough material to work with for now. I think for now, these RW-75's will be my veg lights and the new project + the RW-75's will be my flower power.

Ill be interested to see how much you like the CXA3070s having used the Area51 light. Im loving my 3070s but they are my first LEDs ever, going good so far though.

Yeah i saw the Grape Stomper. For some reason Talisman got my attention and when i found out it was a limited edition i went for it. Could have gotten a second rw75 but i went with some new gear instead. Wouldn't mind an extra light but it is what it is. So you're gonna build you a LED. Good luck with that. Should be fun.

I'm interested to see how they perform and difference in light myself. By the look of other builds, it should be pretty awesome.
