Yeah that fire shit got me parinoid I got surge protecters and I have cords in the laundry room and another room so it wouldnt use one circut is that ok guys?
sounds like you have the right idea. the more you can spread out the better.

when i first fired up a 1000 watt in a bedroom, after a few weeks, i felt the panel where it was plugged in and it was hot to the touch. that freaked me out so i ran a long heavy duty cord to the laundry room and i used the outlet for my washing machine. my gf was always bitching because she couldn't do laundry during daytime.

something scary happened and i didn't even know it. my first HID was a freaky little thing with one 400 watt MH and one 400 watt HPS in the same unit. after i switched to the 1000 watt, i started using the MH side of this unit for vegging. one day i noticed that the HPS side of the unit had damage like it melted. i have no idea when this happened or how but i ditched that thing muy pronto! fuck! IT MELTED! FUCK! how did i not know this?? i really need to pay better attention to things! lol

For about $80 you can get a self contained dry chem fire extinguisher by a company called Flame Defender sounds like an easy fix and cheap insurance, right?
nice find! i'll check it out! i always have my handy dandy all purpose fire extinguisher at the flower room door!

years ago, my roommates hot but ditsy gf started a grease fire in the kitchen. i sprung into action and dailed 119! as soon as i did it i realized it was wrong but i find it amusing that watching the flames leap up the walls caused enough of a panic for me to dail the wrong emergency number! lol

That is weird man. Have you tried any training? She doesn't like a lot of nutes in veg but when she hits flower she absolute loves them. Post a pic and let me take a look.
I think its not getting enough light because its so short or the roots arent growing much because it has plenty of water so the roots arent moving. I dont know I will take a pic and mail it to you.

Wouldn't not enough light cause stretching?

Just move on to soil beav and I'll show you the way ;) ha ha if that clone doesn't seem to get any bigger I can give you a bigger plant and or clone. They seem to love being tied down or topped. Also I wait till my medium is about bone dry before I water. Gives the roots something to do ha ha. Also, have you hit her with any nutes?

Oh yeah shes taking everything the other plants are taking, shes green and beautiful looks exactly like the other orange cuts you have going, leaves look real identical.. I honestly think it doesnt like getting a lot of water like you said I may just have to cut watering her and hand feed her for a week this is my last veg week so i will be taking some clones and letting you know whats up.

I'm gonna do some soil in air pots next round, I'm gonna go the " dunking " method. Im gonna dunk my pots in nute/water every couple days. So I will probably be talking to you!!!

That dunking method sounds interesting. So how you liking those airpots? Depending on how yours turn out, I might be switching. I almost splurged on them last time at "another" hydro store ha ha. I would hand water her for a week or so to see how she likes it. If she is small in veg, no need t worry too much. She will get about three times bigger in flower, at leas from my experience.

Air Pots are cool man just no one in the valley really carries them. And if they do its the smaller 5 liter ( 1.25 ) gallon pot which is what I have. You can order some big ones online to grow trees in. I will throw you one for free I have a extra new one laying around.

I saw some at home grown. They had a huge mat for it so I imagined that you put them together yourself. Either way it seems like a pretty solid method. I mean the more air the better right? Ha ha that would be cool man. I'll even let you have some of the finished medicine I get off that airpot plant. Will have to make it a tasty one for ya :)

All you do is is take the plastic snap it together and then put the plug into one of the holes to hold it together. Takes like 1 minute.

Has anyone used the organic super soil mix that subcool put up? I am planning to take that route, any tips would be appreciated.

Here is a couple pics of veg and flower. I'll be doing close ups tonight so come check out my thread!

P.S. @Beav The last picture is of the orange. This is what you can expect at only 45 days flower :) Still two weeks left (give or take) and all the nugs are about that same size.

Subcools super soil is amazing! Once I move to my bigger place I will finally be adding my super soil that has been cooking up for about 3 months now. Depending on the strain, only add half super soil and the rest a "base" soil. You should be fine. Very easy method for a couple plants.
