Orgnl- sometimes strains just don't have a lot of smell... The scent comes from essential oils found within the trichrome heads. If it's low THC it'll smell that way, and some strains just have that earthy smell like dirt.

Since it's so late in flowering seeds won't have any chance of maturing, you might want to carefully remove the sacs, if they are coming from the top new growth, you're pretty much fuct bro.


And yes, you'll want to flush the last week. I don't stop my sugar/carb feeding either like Budski...

You'll want to look into Dr. Hornby's products, Scorpion will max out the resin, 20mL per gallon every other week... Also Voodoo Juice... Hope your pockets are deep.

Organics don't have as much resin, but in my case I've found better yields with organics.

Flavor is debatable, if you like resin hashlike weed:: or :: light aromatic... Synthetic::Organic.

wanting to know what people think is the way to grow for "max potency and resin"
im not picking sides just yet, but the best mary i have seen posted here is usually organic. You also said that best yields are orgo, and max resin is hydro. did you switch that around by mistake?

myself i have grown in soil, coco, and currently doing a small aero trial. all using a three part nutrient.
the easiest and healthiest plant so far has been a soil coco perlite mix. non organic. but i was not feeding the chemicals with every watering, maybe every other, or every two waterings. i was not taken back by resin production either, i mean it looked okay, but not like some of the orgo bud shots on here that have a quarter inch thick layer

do you think that pounding the media with too much chemical ferts is what gives them a bland color, nasty taste.

I'm pretty sure most if not all autoflowering strains available are feminized, if not, but some non-fem seeds, and breed them, that's how seeds are made.


No holmes, I got my best yield best taste from organics... But the resin production isn't to par with synthetics.

I did't compare hydro to soil...

The difference in taste isn't much, the organics taste "cleaner" you can smoke blunts without coughing...

My theory is that it's because of the low resin content.


Smoking my weed is similar to smoking hash, it's a blow to the lungs... It still has no noseburn, or harsh flavor, it's just more potent.

I really stopped messing around with 100% organic growing, I use a combination of synthetic and organics.

howard ,doc.. I have always rooted in 1 rockwool cubes in a dome and tray.. then 4" cubes for 2 weeks veg and usually plant at around 18" in my rock buckets for flower..
my question is, I have had a 30 ezcloner for like 4 years and i havent even tried to use it.. i have little idea about how the roots act in dwc or aero.. can i just clone in this thing and leave them in for like 3 weeks untill they are 18" then softly place them in my rock and perlite buckets.. do they bounce back quick after transplant.. ???only assuming that you have used these methods

should also mention,, i just want to stop using rockwool if possible, without jeopardizing growth rates..

I built a small bubble cloner. and have no problems replanting in soil. i've replanted at about 10-13".

I've gone to pet's mart like three times knowing I needed something other than dog stuff...



I've heard you use it on the last couple weeks of flowering, I looked at the uv index chart for the ReptiSun CFL UV bulb, and you're supposed to have it about 12" away.

I've got 2 lights of super skunk, I bet I can cover one maybe two plants... All of the plants are exactly the same size, from clone... And all currently look the same, so it'll be a very accurate test.


I've been meaning to do this experiment.

I've used the EZ cloners...

The neoprene plugs are expensive to replace, and they're a bitch to clean. The EZ cloner itself is full of nooks and crannies and nearly impossible to clean.


You could put your cubes (or use peat plugs) on top of the holes of the EZ cloner, and just bump the switch to water the cubes... You know use it for something...


I found the EZ cloner to be a pain in the ass.


I use rapid rooter plugs, they have hormones and low nutes in them, hardly, if any shock from transplant, roots in 2 weeks.

just got back from my room,,, neglected to go for 4 days cause i needed a break and i wanted to see my growth rates..they were so/so.. as you can see.. also my momma and my ezcloner.. thats been in a box since jesus walked... to the blunt to the bed .. peace fellers.. im gonna hate this ezcloner i can already tell................

also my dehumidfier i connected to my res .. so my humidity stays in check via your guys info... this blunts for you.. hope you like the set up.. any suggestions appreciated ..
