whats up guys and gals??? Hows the grows going? Have you smoked anything killer that made you go crazy in the hunt for seeds or clones? I got some "morning star" from a friend and that shit took my doors off for hours-----whew!!!. A Lot of tasty meds going around and some great grows out there as well.

As far as the branching and budding question---There's alot of ways to get it done---Topping/LST/Bending/super-cropping/lollipopping/forking/splitting/ and many more----tell us about your situation...

nothing serious, i just have a lr2 x ak 47 fem that id like to get the most out of, its already day 59 for her but i have plenty more seeds id like to get to their full potential

New grower here and i have a quick question. I have 6 plants doing very nicely, only about 2 1/2 weeks in but doing phenominally. There to the point now where the water they take in is noticable after a few days. My question is, is it ok to add water back to the reservoir to bring it back to the appropriate level or just lettem ride until next nutrient cycle?

whats up doc, quick question concerning what IPfreely was talking about.

today when i was messing around in my grow room i dropped a DVD and it knocked off all the foliage on one side of the plant.

the plants showed sex on day 14 and over the last four days they have started to bud and look amazing.

My question is how will this effect my plant and my yield?

will the missing foliage enable the branches and top to grow bigger and produce more bud, kind of like the lolipoping method? it is a lowryder so im not sure if this applies as it does to other strains

or will it mess up my plants growth? (i lost two main branches and all the fan leaves on that side)

thanks for any help anyone can offer. happy growing

I have some blue dream plants going and i am out of room for height they are almost 6ft tall and i have no more room to raise the light anymore i have tied the plants and pulled them over but they are still pretty close to the light and i still have probally 6 to 8 more weeks of flowering what should i do????oh and by the way there are under 1000hps......

you should be pretty sweet with what you have cali, the plants only really change in height in the first 2-3 weeks of flower after that they settle down and just start nugging so im guessing your plants arent guna get much bigger..

Hey Dr, a quick question here.

If the heat and humidity is controled in your room and you run Co2. Do you need an Air intake, or exhaust?

LOL----I try to answer them as soon as they come in but I travel alot and help other growers. Plus with breeding, writing a book, cannabis competitions and future endeavors take alot... But I will help anyone whom needs it!!!:bigjoint:

hello dr vondankenstine , i dont type well, but here goes, i use g.h. water farms with air stones in the bottom , i know that i need to change to a more professional system but with the results ive had and the fact that grow was constructed to fit these toys, no one but me wants to change my system but they dont grow with it they just see good results. the thing im doing now is to place a large coco or rock wool cube in top rather than just hydroton, my upper roots do no devlop good at all plant cant even support themself in the bottom or whats suppose to be the reservor is were almost 80% of my roots develope ( one day ill go to a drip to waste sys.) do you think ill get better root devlopment with coco or rock wool 6" cube surrounded with hydroton or will i just have a new disease factory?

I don't know if you have independent waterfarms or linked???----The best results come from linked with a controller/tank plus a circulator(you can build one yourself with a small pump in-line your links----also if you want to push them to the next level get a small 1/15----1/2 HP chiller(depends on control tank size) run it inline between your controler tank and first farm. hydroton is the best medium and you can grow straight into it from seed/rockwool cubes--4" is a little big IMO-----rapid-rooters with great success.
Note: GH water buckets are great and really great for mothers---Allot of different ways to get things done---I could be wrong but I think they make a square net baskets now for the WF??? could help with the support of plants.

I can't wait for the big bud contest---the gears have been turning on this one... The big foot is a monster of a plant. And most people think BIG BUD is a large bud producer:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:--just wait!!!

res temps are ok and your spot on if i could keep them cool id grow at 90deg the shit goes insane in my grow at 90deg c02 1800ppm my farms are linked 24 total going for 4 per res &cont. plants use about 3/4gal per day in bloom . but the water in them is gravity feed and non recerculating so chiller wouldnt be very doable i ran 90deg day and 60deg nite real fun but way too fast and strechy for a first timmer noob like me. i have many issuse and so does our garden will provide details if your willing to adopt a special ed student. i have (I.D.A.D.) i do alota dopititis
