Astir Grow Led Panel Project...

hey ganja2 or anyone how do you upload pics big on the screen? The thingy isn't working for the last ages:o

After posting today's pics to my IC thread, it occurred to me that I have >50% more bud mass in my led tent.

For those who were banned there, here are 2 shots. Alas, the led shot is taken too close to see all the lower buds, but they have more mass than all 3 combined under the HOT5 tent. That said the HOT5 tent buds are ~ 20-30% bigger, BUT with 3xs the watts

well no one hadn't any doubt you two got the same tastes on a few things :D:D

Twin spirits from different continents

One thing is certain, since I added my crude ass supplemental screw bulb led bar, lower bud mass is way up compared to my HOT5 with no lower lighting

Today is the last day on 12.30' / 11.30' cycle....
One more transition week remains till 12/12 cycle....
( Tomorrow ,light regime , will change to 12.15' / 11.45' ,to last for a week... )

After the plastic light cross bar hook broke, I decided to position my ufo in a corner, about half way up the plant, aiming up on a ~70* angle. It is on the opposite side from my light bar. Looking at this in action, I don't think I really need light directly above the plant at this stage, ~ 3 weeks to harvest. That said, I will try to hang it higher, either vertically, or but on ~20- 30* angle down.

Now my plant is shaped like a christmas tree, so not much bud development, just one ~ 8" top cola

SDS i see "τα αλβανά" are looking great...:lol::lol: how many tops do they have?

mmm.
Haven't counted them ...
Yeah, indeed those " αλβανά ",are tough ones...
Some good genes there,probably...
...

6 panels only for this jungle? I think i have changed my mind and want them ASAP

For this jungle , hydroponic system helped also a lot...it's the secret combination...

SDS, what about panels and humidity (over 70%) ? How are they get along ?

Now,that's a good point,there...
( I've just checked my humidity readings...73% ...WTF ? ...How did you guess ,that ? )
Due to Shade Adaptance ,those plants,do not have great amounts of Ca / Si assimilated....
(soft & supple tissues) ..
That makes them vulnerable to fungus ( & virus ,due to low temps ) diseases...
But,up till now ,not such an issue is of a concern...
Though the high humidity...
(Just keep the CE space, always sanitised and sterile...)

I did not guess anything...:)

This is the reason i asked ( i also got 70%RH)

Hopefully im getting started this week(when the drivers arrive)and i thought to get everything ready,to save me some time...

To get to the point, i didn't ask about the plants, i asked about the led panels and humidity...:D

Great great plants !!!

Well done,my brother.
You 've managed to build your own "Astir Design" panels..
Pretty easy,wasn't it ?
Very nice job,done there ...

...
Now...Once leds are soldered ,you do not have to worry about humidity ,that much....
(I'll test one ,actually spraying it ,all over the pcb with water ,under pressure..Do you think it will go KA-boooommmmm..?)

Have you installed a fan over the heatsinks ?

Thanks!Under your explicit instructions, yes it was easy ...but i've been through a lot to set those up...:) better days will come
Would love to be part of the team someday...maybe when i grow up a little...;-)
I think panels are just as waterproof as the drivers ;-)

Keep up the nice work!
