my review is for me trying to order from attitude seed bank multiple times.

the credit card my bank issued me will NOT work... tried every little thing to get it to work. eventually talked to the bank and card companies. both said the company we are trying to do the transaction with have been flagged for fraud and they wont allow any more transactions with them at all using their card.

i thought it was the bank being a jerk because they figured out people are buying cannabis seeds. even warned people of it.

then the christmas promo came along after going thru that. i decided to look into it more since i wanted to make an order again, since i had missed out on the paradise promo and really wanted the christmas one badly...

i had the same trouble trying to order... so i emailed attitude. they danced around the question multiple times. eventually i got an email that was poorly worded, which i believe was on purpose, that admitted that they are having issues with fraud.

since then ive tried to tell my story on here, and no matter what way i go about it im going to get people pissed off one way or another.

dont come in here to just insult or discredit me.

ive since even called them... explained everything, even that people thought the emails were miss-worded and that i interpreted it wrong.

they were very slow in response, and didnt have much else to say except that they HAVE had issues, especially lately, like many others supposedly, and that i should only send cash, do the card over the phone, or use a pre-pay card.


just letting folks know what happened. freaking sucks... i love attitudes pricing, selection, freebies, etc... and im finding that alot of other seed outlets arent easy to make an order thru atm if your in the states too... i figured at some point, before legalizing, seeds would eventually get hard to smuggle in (usa), or something would screw up. perhaps this is "that point". idk.

i havent lost any money, nor any seeds thank goodness. all of my attitude orders have been great. 2 were even opened and searched, but i still received my order. (happened to me back in 2003 too from Greenthumb, ripped open, searched, and resealed with a big ol customs sticker.)

so i still love attitudes products and promos...im just not thrilled with their customer service atm. anyone know what the heck is going on?

just typical internet CC fraud, and it happened to touch attitude unfortunately?? i mean it IS kind of at your own risk, and i understand that. not out to make attitude look bad with this... im more so hoping to ease my concerns with using them again. so plz dont come in here to insult me or discredit me. im only curious whats up.

i see a number of folks outside of the usa are happy, but seems only the usa folks are the ones complaining. am i hitting on the right points here?

ive been considering using a different way to order (different place, IP, computer whatever...) and using a particular pre pay card called "Serve" by Amex. would this be a "safe" way of ordering from usa in your guys' opinions?? thanks ahead of time for the help. :D happy 2014

well I have ordered from them many times. I always make sure I call the bank before I place the order, tell them exactly how the order is and thats its coming from an over seas company attitude gifts. every time I order it goes thru first time. as far as the flagging, shit that really sucks. I have also got a prepaid visa card and used that. but be carefull some do not do overseas transactions, make you wait up to 2 weeks before you get a real card, and so on. Open a checking account with a good bank that has visa, bank of america, or who ever, and try to re-order and tell the bank first what is going on. good luck

Not sure about your card issues - my visa check card from Chase works no problem.

As for customer service, it has been top notch for me.

I ordered the December promo on Dec. 5th. I never received it. Here's the email exchange.

yeah its First Merit Bank that is giving me the issues mainly at this point. they bought out Citizen's Bank. which this never happened with.

so regardless of fraud activity... it has do with the bank as well. im glad i could get that from your post. if im reading into it correctly. thank you.

Sorry to hear you've had trouble, that's really frustrating. But I wouldn't be discouraged from ordering from them in the future because of the bullshit you've had to deal with. I've ordered from Attitude twice and had great experiences both times- no hassle and prompt delivery. I just used my regular Visa card and felt fine with it since I've a medical card and grow within my limits. Good luck.:joint:

out of many times ive only had this one time that i was "not impressed" with the quality of customer service, especially DIRECTLY regarding the question i was asking. they either made a mistake a failed to fix/see it, or just were very weird, or hard to understand/get to answer me. only time...

ive had great times in the past with greenthumb( WAY back lol) attitude, nirvana, and breeders boutique. each one has had at least one or two imperfections of some sort, but in general were all awesome. that includes the attitude.

so hopefully i can continue enjoying the attitude, as long as im reasonable about it.

I would switch banks. That's bullshit.
exactly its stupid. ours was bought out and took over, and they let go a ton of our local employees. being one of the biggest employers in the area. in an already f'd up city. First Merit Bank is total crap for sure... for many reasons.

EDIT: it would have prevented me from ever "needing customer service" if it just would have went thru as normal... so it would have saved me quite a bit of hassle.

btw i meant: old bank: Citizens. new bank: First Merit. didnt have issues with Citizen's so i never would have ran into any issues had everything just gone as it had in the past.

Going to be switching for sure. Probably be a few months before my next order. I'm so poor I probably hurt em more being their customer than not..lol.

The Attitude will not talking about anything dealing with reselling, germinating of seeds in email. They do their business very carefully.
If the credit card don't accept your payment, then problem don't belongs to The Attitude. It belongs to the local bank in your country.
I made few order recently, they quickly make respond and sent out stuff once payment received.
Every time I just sent them GBP cash by air mail. Here GBP cash can be exchanged easily.
My mail successfully delivered. remember try to fold the cash into tiny rectangular shape and stick it in pattern on an A4 paper, then covered with advertisement leaflet.
The freebie, promo stuff always surprise me.

Use a Citibank credit card and utilize their "Virtual Account" engine. What it does is create a virtual credit card number where you give it a dollar limit and expiration date. This will create a unique "virtual" CC number linked to your primary credit card. Works overseas just fine. Say you have a 100$ order : set the limit to 105$ with a 30 day expiration. The fraud dicks can go ahead and use your number with 5$ left on it if they dare. !! This is fraud-proof. Problem solved.

im not knocking your style mane., when it comes down for to do stuff like that., it always come back and bits me in the butt.. thats y i do it the regular way and call it the day.. but whatever works for u mane., let it do what it do pimpn..

might take advatage of the sensi promo and get some RP strawberry banana. if its not going to be a hassle.

i used the serve.com method. it worked very well. just wanted to let folks know!

it was a great alternative to the card i had issues with. package is on its way, so far so good. :D

well i originally waited for it in the first place. never bought the one in-store. so i was ready to go, no international purchases activation or anything.

my geuss would be that it may take a week or so... idk tho. the personalized card is like having an Amex tho... it may take them a second or two to get the card made up. idk.
