I can see what you mean about being a bit mould susceptible but that second pic looks like it could have been in a late 70’s or early 80’s era High Times mag has that real old school vibe going on. It’s good to see people over here doing there own thing with strains the full on sativas aren’t my thing but I really enjoy seeing guys growing and working with things that are a bit out of left field. Personally I’m really looking forward to seeing what Bodhi puts out from his Super Natural Selections line I think that will be where we start seeing some real “new” lines,mixing stuff like your Brazilian with the newer O.G,Chem,etc lines will re-open some of the bottle necks in the gene pool

Do you know which region in Brazil it came from ? It’s not Manga Rosa or something like that is it ? I think that’s what was what Shanti used in White Widow

Comes from bahia I believe, managed to get them from my friends family's friend, he was growing it last year as well and hollly shittttt did he let it get big, had to trim it several times 'cause you could literally see it from the front of the house growing over the top of it. Thank god he didn't get caught with that over here, would literally get life with that amount of weed in this backwards ass state

Fuck i didn't even know he was coming out with a line like that, now I need to get some money together haha, I try not to pay attention to what breeders are doing until i'm about to buy seeds for this exact reason. I'm really hoping to blend the best of modern and old school together, I'm not one of those the weed today is shit old school weed is so much better kind of people and to be honest it would be stupid if i was because (surprise) I'm only 21 haha. However I have gotten the opportunity to smoke some real old school weed my family and friends family etc and have had the opportunity to collect some old school seeds to grow out myself so I've at least got to experience a bit of the 'golden era' of weed. But when I compare that kind of shit to a lot of modern strains and just weed in general I've gotten on the streets even if it's like super premo, frosty as hell, smells real good there's always something lacking to the high that always makes me prefer the old school long flowering strains more

I even see a lot of american growers and old school weed heads complaining about rec and med weed over there because you literally can't find anything in store that didn't take under 10 weeks to flower and doesn't look like 'top shelf' because otherwise nobody wants it. I see some fire pictures online occasionally of some like old school sativas or some nuts looking land races and there's always those people that are like man that shit's trash that shit reggie like are you serious yea your fuckin' alien fire 69 might be 30% thc but all it feels like is a strong high, if I just wanted a strong high i'd headbutt a pile of fish scale. I always look for something that can make me really think when i'm high and not just stupid high thoughts but like properly think, shit that gets me motivated, shit that makes me feel like I can take on the world, shit that makes me look back on all the shit things in my life but lets me look on with full confidence. Most modern weed just doesn't have that for me it always just feels like a thc high and unfortunately most breeders these days are just after that nice big ol' number next to those 3 letters on the labels and that's all most shoppers are after too but that's like completely missing what i'm looking for. Obviously I like my shit strong too but it's not that hard to have both (not to mention high thc with no terpenes is actually weaker than medium thc with a lot of terpenes especially myrcene)

I find old school weed is like shit you hit and it changes your life, modern weed you hit it and you just wanna hit more to get higher

My old man was travelling pretty much the whole of the 70’s South Africa,India,Afghanistan,Nepal,Pakistan,Columbia,Ecuador,El Salvador,Mexico,U.S.A and more and has smoked weed and hash (some opium and did his fair share of coke and mushrooms) and he would agree with you on the differences in “high” between the heirloom. Strains and the post Dutch hybrids that most modern stuff is derived from but he also likes the stuff you can get now better in most cases but he is a indica fan like me. To me the real golden years were the early years of the Dutch scene when the hybrids from different parts of the U.S started reaching Amsterdam and the guys over there were still able to run big selections,guys like Neville were doing 10,000 plant selections !!! Add to that he was working with and making true F1 hybrids and you can see why there are so many guys still holding early 90’s sensi cuts,there was keepers in every pack coming out of that place in that time multiple keepers even that’s not the case any more.

There's only a couple of species of lady beetle that eat plants and this fucker is one of them (28 spot lady beetle). I picked it up 4 times to take it away but it flew right back over my head and back to the girls. (Don't wanna kill it cos it's still cute lol.) So anyway each arvo when I hose them off I check if there's any good ones on the plants and if there are I put them in a container and then put them back on when I'm done. Lol. Partner thinks I'm a nut job. So I went ahead high pressure hosed them thinking that'll get rid of the leaf eating one..... But it didn't!! Determined fucker. It's camped up for the night now. I'll get rid of him tomorrow! Haha sorry just thought I'd share lol

Fuck there big lady bugs. Mine are tiny and my daughter likes to go out and steal them. poor little fuckers I find them in her vanity draw haha

Haha I don't blame her!! They are damn cute- for a beetle lol. I check the pool every day without fail and grab them out. They're attracted to the reflection of the water apparently.

I fucked the dozer and I just finished servicing it haha. I love it when they say "as long as your alright" but inside you know you just fucked a couple of hundred thousand dollars and your going home to punch bongs and they have to deal with inspectors and do incident reports. Oh but my bag of skittles went everywhere so I'm devastated haha
