man this adelaide heat is killing me. Still haven't got my beans yet but have been running tests on my grow tent for heat and plant stress using some coriander in a small DWC bucket. Hard to keep the tent under 37 during the day with the HPS on.

Ru running a cool-tube? They really do work wonders.

yeah if you hook your cooltube up properly you can make it so your light only heats up the room about 1 degree... thats with a closed cooltube and seperate venting.


hey ninja, the clones are doing alright, ph fluct. burn hasnt got any worse and now they are dropping roots into the res.... go get some propper ph ajuster and they shoud be laughing. Ill give u some pictutre updates soon bro....

first time melbourne grower here wanting to get started lol
just a few questions,
which site is better for a first attempt? Planet Skunk or Amsterdam Seeds?
and can anyone reccomend an easy outdoor strain for a first try?

never used either but in a couple of weeks ill be putting one thrugh planet skunk, know heaps of guys in australia that use them....

and the strain well thats prety much up to you, just look around untill you see something you like.....


your strains like a new car.... get the one you want, not what people think you should have

i can vouch for planet skunk! As for strains i think thesite tells u how easy/hard the strains are. Just look under info tab on strains

Puff to be quite honest man, i dont know of any.... i tried years ago and ill i found was crap in australia... my mate got one from china i think.. no prob getting it... pretty cool bong 2.... i think the bong cost about 14 dollars but postage was about 40....

it will reduce the amount your aircon has to wrk though bro.... and when a small air con uses around 1.3KW/H goin full force... itll save u some cash.


and if ur having trouble with heat.... a cool tube will ALWAYS help.... and it cools ur fittings and bulb down to lengthen ur lamp and ballasts life....

A couple pics from tday,the 2 small ones were seedlings from my abandoned guerilla grow i just transplanted,they've been smashed by caterpillars but they'll come good in a few days.
Then i got the 1 i transplanted from my backyard.

Finally these 2,one of em was lookin pretty weak n pale coz i was trialing a new nute on her,then we got my favourite girl i think ill call it 'Indie Blue",i just re-topped it coz she was gettin too big,i'd say i took about 1ft off about 8 branches.

All female.

sic plants bro, outdoor plants I reckon always look just happier than indoor plants, when I live a bit more rural, Im definitely going to get into out growing.
