My seeded HBD kicked me in the head the other night... It had a little bit of the purple in it and it had a slightly different taste than the pure green one, it had a slight bitterness to it, not exactly what I was hoping for, but it still had that little unique flavour that I experienced with the pure green HBD so a big thumbs up to it for that... and it was a better high than the last weed I bought... It was a little slow to hit at first, I was half way through my joint before I noticed anything, I was wondering what I had done wrong when it started to kick in, it started right behind my eyes and then quick as a flash it hit me, it peaked after about 10 minutes and I was off... it plateaued for about 20 minutes then slowly came down to what I consider a more enjoyable high for nearly an hour where it was energetic and uplifting before petering off for an other half hour... and there was no body stone/couch lock feeling at all... It was sweet and incredibly smooth to smoke but at the same time a little abrasive on the back of the throat, which I did not notice until I was drinking a coffee after my joint...
I'm a fairly lightweight toker and not ashamed to admit it. my tolerance is fairly low and I smoke infrequently... I am not a huge fan of being stoned to the point of drooling or being super high... For me I think the HBD is a great smoke for any time of the day, No paranoia, no munchies... I wouldn't want to try it for pain relief, but there are other strains for that...
I'm hoping with a proper cure that the harshness may be removed from the smoke or that it is maybe confined to just this one plant... I'm also hoping the bitterness does not come with all the HBD girls that exhibit any purple colouring... That would be disappointing...
