autoflowering seeds?

I went on the link to the first seed site on the seed section in this website and they have lots of seeds and i saw some called autoflowering.I might wanna try these for a first time grower because with the short grow time some say just 2 3 months to bud i think it would be much easier for a rookie like me.So I wanted to know if anyone has tried these seeds and if they really work.If i buy them and grow how many grams will I get out of 1 plant?Will the weed be really good and have high thc levels like the site claims and look really good and exotic?Will this autoflowering plant be easier for a rookie like me because of the short grow time and smaller plant?

"Autoflowering" sounds a lot like "autopilot". It is not.

Let me ask you this: How many Cannabis Cup winners are autoflowering strains?

You gain no advantage whatsoever.

Grow an Apollo 11, HOG, Sweettooth #3, White Rhino, ANYTHING but that fucking garbage. Grow a real strain, man.

There are many many real strains that have a flowering time of less than 60 days.

Don't but into the hype, the garbage, the people who grow shitty autoflowering strains and rationalize their efforts by saying that it's the shit. It's not. It's shit.

You want a fresh option? Grow a feminized version of a cannabis cup winner. You'll get a load of females producing super high quality bud that will impress your friends.

Don't beat up on auto flowers

They exist to people who mainly have to grow indoor in cramped areas.

The only reason they are easier is because they aren't photoperiod(you don't have to induce flowering with 12/12 lighting cycle) you can grow them the entire grow at 24-0 18-6 12-12 whatever you want.

they are short squat plants that produce a good amount of bud for the size but can't produce as much as normal plants.

One big downsize besides the yeild ceiling on plant size is they can't be cloned. it's one seed one grow.

That's the problem, man. The myth,the discrepancy. (I really really really don't want to start an argument about this)

How is it advantageous to grow a plant that begins flowering on its own, when all you have to do is switch your lighting pattern to 12 hrs on, 12 hrs off with a REAL STRAIN to begin flowering?

How does this save space, when you can prune and train your plants to fit your grow area?

to say autoflowers produce bad weed, merc, commerical or just plain ghetto trash weed is ignorant.

i suppose every hobby will have elitist who only grow the best strains, play the best games, does the best things and so on..

i have an autoflower bubblelicious and just 2 days shy of 14 days is already smelling better than any weed i've ever smoked in my life.

I tell you what I have grown out a Short Stuff Auto Assassin and I tell you what I cant beleive how strong it was for it being a autoflower x ruderalis but I tell you it was some DANK!!!! for being a auto flower they crossed a ruderalis with there best ak-47 and another unkown sativa was some great smoke for a autoflower don't underestimate tehm they have come a long way !!!!

Well, sorry to come off as a weed snob.

I just think that if you're taking the risk of sending cash through the mail for illegal seeds (at least here in the U.S.) you should go for the best that you can afford. Autoflowering strains are not one them. Clearly.

If you think your weed is dank, imagine how much better if would be if it were crossed with proven cannabis cup winners, instead of ruderalis.

Naturally, you'll have those few exceptions to the rule--some ruderalis hybrids exhibit only the flowering properties of ruderalis, and the potency/yield of a powerful strain. The best of both worlds. But genetics on the whole are tricky and unpredictable. Why play around?
Why not go with the strains that have been proven to produce excellent buds, and learn to to manage your plants and your lighting cycle? Learn how to grow the best? Or better....

If you are one of the lucky ones who have found an excellent autoflowering strain, then good for you! You are the minority. An overwhelming majority of people ,however, can tell you that they are not worth the time. It's unfortunate that marketing leads new growers to think otherwise.

I have no problem with reg strains i grow them outdoors as my once a year grow and through winter and the rest of the year i grow autos !!!!! Y i grow them cause you can put them in super soil and leave them !!!! then harvest !! so good for beginner !!! some say there shit, you get bad harvest, small plants !!!!!!!

Fucking wrong, read this thread every single plant you see in it is a autoflower !!! Super autos from flash seeds get 6 foot + !!!! and harvest in half the time of a reg strain CLICKHERE - this link !! these autos are grown outdoors in a greenhouse !!! and he got them 6 foot !! people say you should have them on 24/0 light the hole way through to maximise yeild - this dude grew his with half that light.

if your a begginer, you want to grow autos !!!

umm Super Cali Haze is a autoflower plant it was crossed with ruderalis .... just look on the site man it says in the description anything that flowers without being sensitive to photoperiod is crossed with ruderalis .......

na bro i dont think it is !! its cali fem and sativa male or something bro !!! it not runderials but i do know for sho, that iran auto flower is not runderials !!!!!! but it cost $300 for 10 seeds lol !!!!

i just harvested a diesel ryder which was some 2-3 toke stuff and finished in 2 months...got a roadrunner thats almost done that smells just like a super lemon haze and has turned purple.there are good and bad traits of these autos.first..they flower too fast...both of mine flowered at 12 days...and unlike reg strains...they do not get the stretch during its first few weeks of flowering.when it goes into flower...it pretty much stops growing in size and puts its energy into budding.since it dont have a long veg time...most of these auto strains stay short.which can be good and bad...bad if you want a big yield...but good for those needing to do stealth grows...if your growing in a pc case...these plants are perfect...some people forget that not everyone has a big grow room or can grow outdoors...in a pc case or small grow box...no amount of training or topping will be enough to make a reg strain fit.i think that new growers can learn from these seeds...they dont have to worry about getting the light cycles right...or light leaks if they go 12/12...to say these seeds are useless is not true...they are useful to some...if you can get reg seeds and have the space for them...by all means grow that way...thats how i am now since i have a bigger grow area...no more autos.but the breeders and seed companies would not push them and waste the time on them if they wasnt useful.....the problem is some peoples ego makes them think that they know whats best...and they preach their way to be the only way...they forget that not every grower is the same and has the same setup.

every one can grow outdoors !!!!! pc case is for the smallest, 1 plant auto grows !!! autos can get massive in hydro !! 2-3 OZ of a normal auto !!!!

autos arnt that small if you look after them !!

autos are stunted and shit if you dont give them much light, they just wont get as big !!!

but autos are perfect for stealth grows, small grows, all year round grows, beginer growers ect...

some do grow a little bigger...and that will depend on the grower and the setup...but in some cases you dont want them growing big...which is a advantage.and not everyone can grow outdoors...im in the city...i would have to find someones private property to grow on....and if your growing outdoors with unlimited space and your growing autos...you need to be taken into the street and beaten with large metal objects for being a retard...if you have a outdoor grow area....grow some monsters.its easier to hide a giant plant outside then it is inside.the only advantage of growing autos outside is to keep on track with the sow to harvest time with the seasons in your local area

But even in cramped conditions, by 12/12 from seeding a traditional strain, you can get the same type of results but with greater potency, Autoflowers are a marketing scam...

not really a scam...they pretty much tell you what they do...they call them auto flowers...and they autoflower.meaning flower on any light cycle..which reg plants cant do.its all about whats easier for some..and most auto strains are much easier to grow for the beginner or someone with limited space.and potency can be just as good as a reg strain if grown correctly
