Yes, the only intent for this is to have some air exchange while I'm travelling. My harvest is only about a week into curing and I have to leave for 2 weeks. since it's still pretty fresh, it still needs some oxygen on occasion to keep it from going anaerobic.
I connect the air pump to a smart outlet and stick a boveda butler in there to monitor the humidity. If the boveda butler sends me an alert that the humidity is getting high, I can switch on the air pump from my phone and reduce it so I don't come back to 4 jars of mold.
