This is nothing l like a wine fridge! Not even close.
I have 2 brand new ones with a 3rd on the way. I can get a perfect dry in as little as 4-DAYS and a 90-day cure in another 4 DAYS. So . . . a 90-day dry/cure in 8-days from chop.
When finished the outside of the bud is 'crunchy' and has just a very slight hint of a grass smell while still being spongy. The aroma will fill the room when you squeeze the buds and/or grind them up.
I don't know about trimming AFTER drying in the Cannatrol. I trim BEFORE putting it into the Cannatrol. It's expected that the buds may flatten on one side. But, once ground up you can't tell !!!
Cannatrol takes the guesswork out of drying/curing and is a set-it-and-forget-it type of system. I can't believe the stress I no longer have trying to hang dry or dry in paper bags. I KNOW it will dry/cure properly in the Cannatrol. No more worrying!!!!
