I looked at that link I like the idea of the 5 gallon bag but in the video it didn't look that big. If you go that route let me know what your results are with them.looking really good, anything you would change about the system setup, ive been thinking about changing the pots out for fabric pots. only have found one fabric pot that fits tho and its perfectly same size as plastic pot that comes with system. http://dlwholesale.com/product_info.php?products_id=1604
I thought it was important to note that the hose for the autopot is not precut you cut the hose to the lengths that you want so it is my fault that they weren't cut right.Next time I will probably make the watering hoses a little longer so I can spread them out a little farther not much just a little. It would be nicer to maybe have some pots that are a little bigger. One thing I will say about this strain is that it is very hardy they should have died when I was trying the coco medium but they didn't. I will definitely grow more pineapple skunk in the future but next time I will be doing a scrog.
Its not a good idea to flush autopots, simply there is no need to.For me it wont be a problem I have a old shower with drain when it comes to the flush I will just pick up the plants and move them into the shower. I will flush them and let them sit for an hour so most of the water can drain off and just put them back in their stations. Also the autopots are designed to simulate mother nature with a dry period an a wet period that's why there are valves in them.
You have to have air running in the reservoir or els the the nutes will go off in the eatterIts not a good idea to flush autopots, simply there is no need to.
Because the autopots are bottem fed, all the salts rise into the top few inches of your medium, away from roots and harmless. By top feeding your autopots, you are washing the salts into the roots.
Im glad i found a decent autopot section, currently have the 15L kit in a 4x4 600w
Also found from autopot founder that a reservoir air stone is not recomended as it raises the ph.
