I have tried 3 or 4 times now, and i cant seem to get the seed to sprout.. what am i doing wrong? i've tried it with lots of light, on a shady shelf, and in a sunny room... should i just give up and plant one in the ground???
Ground avocado pits and leaves have been a traditional central/south american medicine - abortive - terminated babies. So, I came to know about a behind the scene paper on avacado seeds that some of the
preworkout supplements are made up with it. But, unluckily I lost the link. Do you know about it?

Ok, so the first pit is a mediocre one. Notice the circular shape and puny size - but it still shot out some roots and cracked open!
The next one is a much nicer pit - you can tell by the perfect egg shape and massive size. They are both about a week old(notice how many more roots the big pit has! actually, the big pit is a few days younger.) and I'll be putting them in pots as soon as I get around to it. There is the tiny little shoot coming out of the mediocre pit - it looks like an asparagus head but I couldn't get a pic of it since it is way down in that crack.

Just over one month old: Maybe 6 weeks, I'm not sure anymore.
