Just look at your buds at 7 weeks 1 day flowering with 270w of LED:


And my buds at 7 weeks 1 day flowering with 250w HPS (notice using 20 less watts than you):





Notice how much larger mine are even though I am using less wattage than you? What is the point of using 270w of LED when you can get better results using 250w of HPS? If you replaced your LEDs with just one of your 600w HPS your yields would at least be 2.5 times heavier

That one picture you shown was a picture I took of the lower buds, and they are just a little shorter than a bic lighter. the colas are about a foot long and are filling in nicely. plus, I said this grow has at least another 4 weeks to go, its a sativa thing. Go back and look at some of the other pics.

Yeah the pictures that I posted are of plants that went another 4 weeks as well
Great White Shark from GHS
Not trying to be a dick or anything its just that I find it crazy to use LED especially when you have HPS lights sitting around
I would use the LEDs along with the HPS so that you can get the intensity of the HPS and spectrum of the LEDs
Those glow panels could be hung on the walls pretty easily I believe

they are hung on the walls, plus FYI. they are only 28 watts, I dunno why they call em 45's.

I built a led board for myself, I used it to supplement a 1000 watt HPS.

The plants on the half of the room with the LED and the 1000 watt got bushier quicker. I used a ratio of 4 red to 1 blue, through veg and flower.

The plants on the other half of the room only had the light from the 1000. They grew well but not like the other side.

Things look great axjnkee.

Do you have any HID, CFL, or fluorescent? Anything in the predominately white spectrum or just what comes on the boards?

no I dont use any other light, just pure LED. Other than the t5's in my nursery, wich like I said previously will be replaced with blue LED's.

week 8 flower. Full strength Tiger and Big Bloom nutes. Flush in between feedings. Looks like maybe 3-4 weeks to go. Final flush soon, and am thinking of using the humbolt hydro honey instead of molasses,(any thoughts on this are welcome) My # 3 plant is about 5 weeks behind the other 2 due to light leak, from a water cooler light getting through the crack. Problem fixed and she is comming around nicely. here are a few pics. More later.

Looking good! I've been thinking about getting some LEDs. From what I'm gathering the money I save in electric bill will make up the cost in a few months. So please keep us updated

I am using the illuminators from - www.prosourceworldwide.com They got thier shit in a pile when it come to LED's. Sunshine Systems are good too.

AX! I finally got a chance to check out your thread man, lookin good! I just wanna say that for a lot of people LEDs are very expensive, and no doubt about it, they are. But I look at it like this, LEDs are a all in one component. I spent 1600 bucks on enough led panels to cover a 4x4 area with a ton of LED light. To cover the same area would take a 1000w. The 1000w bulb, ballast, hood, cooling fan, clamps, and vents cost about the same after you add it all up.
The LEDs are maintenance free, just hang em up!
I think the bad part about LEDs is that there are companies selling them and not putting the right research and investment into making LEDs that actually work, and work well. I just happened to be lucky and land on a company that sold me quality product, and it seems as if you have too Ax.
LEDs are just one step towards better possibilities for growing. HPS will eventually become a relic.

Good luck with the rest of your grow Ax, ill keep an eye on it.

Thanks kindly almighty. You are right HPS will soon be a relic, especially with rising energy costs in the future. HiD is not very environmentally friendly.
