bacterial tea and fungal tea

Have you ever brewed a tea and got a negative reaction or killed a plant with it? Like the tea multiplied too much rhizopus or fusarium or other bad fungus? How do you guys keep it safe?
This thread is a lil old so you may not get a reply from the original posters, but as far as fungus goes, just top dress with some gnarley barley, and some kind of bokashi. You'll get a mycelium bloom from hell, and it's all you really need, imo.

No I’ve never had any kind of bad reaction or anything like that. If you brew up a tea for something like 36-48 hours should be fine to use. Much longer than that I would just toss it or use for houseplants or flowers outdoors. If you just keep it constantly bubbling tea should be ok. I have heard of teas going anaerobic but that won’t kill your plants either. So to be safe …if it smells like a pond toss it.
