to go back to the potting size, Right now they are good the way there are, but soon they will need the room for root space. Again going to a basic beginners formula of 1ft of plant height to 1 gal of soil.
I assure you this is right, and if you do so, you wont regret it at harvest time, A plant , especially cannabis cannot provide lush big flowers in a small pot. The root mass alone wont even be able to supply the plant with enough nutrients/water/roots to grow big steams/stock to hold a yield. This also goes hand in hand to providing a nice vegetative stage. Dont get me wrong thou, you can and will harvest buds off it. Even in little solo cups you can pull off a few 1/4 oz's. BUT, You wont be getting what I get in my 5gal pots to my 3ft plant. The plants are just that much more mature and sturdy to give a bigger, healthier harvest. Even in my ebb and flow table, i use 5" pots and thinking this still is not big enough for my hydro plants, and they receive a full nutrient supply 4x a day.

it happens, Fuck my journals ain't nothing but me and a few close friends dicking around. Start showing buds and people will trickle in. This site seemed to take a slump anyhow.

NUPE, this is the most entertaining journal I've seen thus far. It's interesting because I can relate to it. Soon I'll be starting my first grow of bag seeds (just waiting on my ballast for my lights.) Your first post was also one of the funniest things I've seen on a forum in a while. I wish you the best of luck, and when I start my grow, I'd hope to have some input from someone like you.

wow..responses...well.. ill be updating with some pictures today... i left thursday for my family reunion and came back last night to a jungle...lol.. i was quite amazed.... although the plants are stubby (i dont know why, mast last grow i had more lights and payed more attention to them and they just grow tall as shit but not alot of leaf action.. so im guessing i have two different types of indica growing right now.. either way im in love... on plant looks like a house plants waiting to bloom.. thats how bushy it is... and the other one has a wingspan of shaq.... such a pretty sight to see

update: i put them into flowering today.. so i have 4 total 2700k bulbs at 1600 lumens each and i have 6 total 5000k bulbs and 1750 lumens each on the plants... i REALLY want to veg till they are trees, but im using CFLs and after reading buds for less, it said that cfls cant really sustain a plant that is too large.... so ill put my greed on hold for now.

today is DAY 26 - i might actually stick with my original plan and start flowing on day 30... i mean.. its ONLY 4 days

my question is.. if anyone cares to answer... i already added in 4 2700k bulbs, but just not decided (while im at work) to let it veg for 4 more days.. when i get home should i immediately switch out the 2700k bulbs or is the plant fine with them in there?

you should wait until your plants reach maturity before you flower them. you can tell if they are mature if they stagger their nodes (branches) instead of forming the basic Ψ. This will really increase yeild.

you should only get 6500K bulbs for veg and 2700K for flowering and use ONLY during respectful grow periods.

they dont sell 6500k bulbs where i live 5000k is as high as they go in my immediate area

changed my mind again, cause i have no set plan of what to do.. im going to sex them now, just to see what i have.. then after that.. ill decided what i want to do

DAY 27:

if this goes very well, im 3 bedroom house in january, so i can do it on a larger scale... these plants look infinitiely more sexy then my last build... POW.. for the record... the plant is about 3-4 inches from the lights.. so the only things that appear to the stretching are the tiniest undergrowth as they fight thier way through the brush

those look pretty indica.. was the weed you got them out of some dank?

i collected seeds from different people. just to make it "fun".. so i have nooooooooooooo idea what they are.. i know that one is fucking stinky, and the other one i can put on my dining room table and u wouldnt smell a thing.

Day 28

i decided to save some money and put the plants outside today.. it was nice today, so why not...

anyways.. today is the third day of flowing / sexing ..hopefully ill have a answer soon..

DAY 31: DAY 6 of Flower

the one with only 2 tops seems to be a male... im not 100% sure so i will wait until im definite. Its always the men that want to show off thier private parts first... im praying that the second on.. the one with 4 tops is a female, ,.. but if i have 2 males.. at least i have learned ALOT from this grow, and i think ill be ready to purchase my first seeds.. although NOW ill have to ALSO grow some strawberries, cause my mum has been constantly asking what type of plant it is... and my generic answer "its a tree" has backfired.. lol... little did i know, my uncle has been looking to purchase baby trees for his yard, so she has voltuneered my tree going service for him so he can save the 200+ usd on purchasing baby trees... go figure.

so i definitely kicked out the tranny in my house. (the boy that i thought was a girl) now im just waiting to see if the remainder is a female... if not.. then this journal will end early... fingers crossed

im currently looking for some easy to grow, decent seeds to grow

has anyone ever grown "BIG BOMB?" or "Berry Bomb"mfrom bomb seeds company?
