to go back to the potting size, Right now they are good the way there are, but soon they will need the room for root space. Again going to a basic beginners formula of 1ft of plant height to 1 gal of soil.
I assure you this is right, and if you do so, you wont regret it at harvest time, A plant , especially cannabis cannot provide lush big flowers in a small pot. The root mass alone wont even be able to supply the plant with enough nutrients/water/roots to grow big steams/stock to hold a yield. This also goes hand in hand to providing a nice vegetative stage. Dont get me wrong thou, you can and will harvest buds off it. Even in little solo cups you can pull off a few 1/4 oz's. BUT, You wont be getting what I get in my 5gal pots to my 3ft plant. The plants are just that much more mature and sturdy to give a bigger, healthier harvest. Even in my ebb and flow table, i use 5" pots and thinking this still is not big enough for my hydro plants, and they receive a full nutrient supply 4x a day.
