Balls on my ladies

Look like flower buds to me.
I've got some plants in my back garden that look similar. Boys balls drop down, flower buds poke up.
First photo = balls definitely male, Second photo = buds female (although I might always be wrong)
Not sure about yours, why not leave them another week and see what they look like then?balls.jpgbuds.jpg

Yeah I'm hoping they are just the start of buds, but all this reading about hermie have me worried, it's definitely not male. This is the same plant, pic of 2 female flower with a ball

Hermaphrodite. If it's both plants just pluck them off as you find them. The worst that can happen is you get a few seeds. What strain is that? It looks sativa. If it has any Thai in it's genetics it's not uncommon to have a few balls develop. Some Thai's are notorious for herming. It has nothing to do with the breeder it's genetic.

That pic I posted must have some Thai in it then, lol.

I do blame the breeders because some of them just chuck beans without testing. Now I’m aware some have more tendency to herm like Chem and a few more. I just find it wild to shop for beans and see a popular breeder with 192 strains available and none have been tested. Then come here and see countless herm reports from that breeder, he’s not the only one either. Just my humble opinion

Those are some big balls
Has anyone just pulled the sacs as they find them? Does the hermie have to pollenate its self first, before it makes seeds?
I’ve done it but eventually you will get tired of checking everyday for nanners so either embrace your herms and love he/she like Most do or cut her and waste your time. One of my plants was a herm she literally had 1 seed throughout the whole plants

Today's pollen chuckers masquerading as breeders and hawking their F1's they made from 2 packs of 10 regulars is not representative of established breeders that have been around for a decade or more. We have had a tsunami of people jumping in to the seed industry in the United States in recent years. Every pollen chucker east and west of the Mississippi has created a cool name and logo and is selling seeds on a hosted Wordpress site with an ecommerce plugin selling seeds for $20+. Then they have their shill accounts make the rounds on all the weed forums pumping up their brand. It is what it is. I get my seed stock from European breeders that have been around and have a solid reputation beyond just some new member on an internet weed forum.

For example, there are lots of good genetics coming out of Spain. They might not be called Super Power Grape Punch Butterscotch Pineapple Cookies but there are definitely some stable and reliable genetics out there and if you plan on dabbling in breeding yourself it's best to start out with good genetics and not the cookie cutter hybrids coming out of the US from genetics initially sourced from Europe and other locations across the globe. Marketing will lead many to believe that they have isolated specific super strains in the US but the reality is that the hype is mostly marketing. That's the American way. Don't forget that the Ponzi scheme originated in America and still creates victims to this day. A fool and his money... I better end this rant about how messed up the cannabis industry has become. I could type forever and still only scratch the surface and it's off topic.

Rant over. Now time for a bowl. bongsmilie

Ughhh I totally fell for it too. All of it is hype and I’m over it. Flashy logos and catchy names isn’t worth ruined crops.
