that would be an answer for a more exp grower. from what ive read, someone mentioned a 16-18" growth height rule before fimming/lst'ing. not sure how tru it is, but im going to wait another week. i checked on my girls this am and one of the PC took off last night. it looks like 1"+ from the previous day. not sure if the amended mycorihaze(sp) in the soil is doing anything beneficial or not, but it was free, so why not give it a go.

Yeah I'm not sure to be honest. I mean the whole point of LST is to get your smaller inner veg light over the fan leaves, and for the plant to branch out. So since I'm using cfl's that are only really effective unless there 3-6 inches from the plant and dont leave much of a light footprint so I've started LST as soon as I seen the under veg pop out. My Skunk #1's are taking off as well, it seems as soon as I switched to the 6500k daylight bulbs the growth, even for a couple days looks substantial. The PC is also getting very bushy, and starting it's under veg. It's not as big as the skunk but hopefully it starts getting huge.

Growth update as of June 11th.

Pineapple Chunk (Smallest plant seems to be slow growing but looks healthy)

Skunk #1 Plant 1 (Seems to be taking off! It's my healthiest Slunk #1 plant)

Skunk #1 Plant 2 (The Sativa dominate pheno also looking very healthy and filling out.)

Skunk #1 Plant #3 (Started the latest, but finally starting to grow. Possibly a bad pheno seems to be acting rather weak compared to others.)

Lmao damn! I can't stand that.. I take the pictures the right way and they always rotate on upload. Any idea how to change it?

Checked the green today and all I can say is WOW... After flushing with sledgehammer and upping the Fox Farm Open sesme/Grow Big nutes they showed substantial growth! I actually had to adjust all the LST on the plants to allow light to the under nodes. Will post updated veg pics around the 17th when I change my nutes again.

except for growing sideways, looks beautiful man!
Simi I think I'm going to attempt your 2 node topping method in your sig. My plants can't grow to tall either, or I'll have problems. Since I'm a first time grower, I'm just going to top my smallest Skunk #1 plant. If every thing goes well I'll do it on every plant my next grow!

pics contain metadata where is a section to track pics orientation, smarter pic viewers can detect that data and rotate that for you, so you'd think that pic is ok, but when u upload it, riu file manager does not know how to rotate, therefore it displays in its original position. u need either make pics with phone turned properly or resave them with some pic editing sw.

can't wait to see how they will look like :)

Well guys I know I've been updating alot, but this early update seems necessary. Shout out to Fox Farm for making great fertz/nutes this was a huge foliage fill out for just two days growth with the extra nutes.

Pineapple Chunk (The grow pattern is very weird, but is filling out nicely.)

Skunk #1 Plant 1 (Has a very clean grow pattern and is also developing a lot of inner foliage.)
IMG_0551.jpgIMG_0550.jpg
Skunk #1 Plant 2
(This sativa dominate pheno's growth is blowing my mind. The inner veg has trippled in less then 48 hours!)

Hey guys I have a quick question I checked on my greenery today and the growth is looking great. ill post updated pics when I change my nute solution, but when I looked at my biggest skunk #1 sativa dominate pheno I noticed the new leaves coming out have a little white hair on the tip what does this mean? Is this good or bad? Like I said this is my first grow and I'm just curious. The plants are looking healthy.

looking good bro!! how fat are those stems on the PC? mine are fat as hell, about 2x+ size of a ball point pen.

Thanks yours are huge! Well It's getting pretty big its about the size of one pen, but my skunk #1 plants are getting big there about the size of 2 or 3 and starting to smell. From what I've heard PC just takes a while, that the veg is slow growing at times. I think I'm going to start LST training today because there getting super bushy. Are your's getting little white hairs at the tip of new leaves that are growing in? I'm hoping its pre-flower female veg growth, but I have no idea it's happening to both skunks.

Had a little mishap, my pump failed the other day. I believe the water was not running for a few hours, but I think I caught the problem in time. I replaced the pump and got everything back up and running. The plants were semi drooped over hopefully they recover tomorrow, and the roots werent exposed to long to stunt growth. I'm running into a few problems each plant seems to have a couple leaves that are turning yellowish on the tips with brown spots, but there all bigger lower leaves. Also the very very small veg is turning crispy and just breaking and flaking off. Is this a heat problem? I'll post pics in a couple hours, let me know what you guys think.

glad you caught the pump issue before anything major happened. theres a plant leafe link thats floating around that shows all kinds of def. i never saved one to my favorites or id post it up for ya. im sure someone will post it up when they read this. how the girls doing otherwise? i just did some defoloilation last night to open up the canopy. lollipopping i think they call it.

iirc, heat issues are leaves cupping up, and or bleached/whitening of leaf tips.

good luck getting it all sorted out.

Well heres the damage done not sure what will happen... Everything seemed to be doing fine until my pump went out for a few hours roughly a day and a half ago. The plants have drooped over ever since. The leaves have a weird whitish flim to there tint and also the leaves look very shrunken. I got scared and decided to dump my nutes and make a fresh batch with nothing but 7 tsp's of FF Grow Big (My previous batches contained 1/4 tsp/gal Open Seseme and 3tsp/gal grow big and everything was great.) I thought it was a possible salt or some kind of nute build up in the roots so i pulled the root structure out and cleaned the inside tubing where they sit. Should I just completely flush with water and if so for how long? I've never been in this situation as I'm a first time grower and I don't want to over react. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do? It's either a nute burn/deficiency or a PH problem has to be.

oh my... you had such a wonderful garden :/ hopefully you'll get this sorted out.. few hours and plants did all this.. insane.. also maybe you can try to jump over plant problems section and repost those pics? maybe you'd get some faster response..
Hope you will get this sorted out soon and plants will be back on track.
Good luck man!

Going to get a ph meter and up and down now if the ph isn't the problem I have no idea. Should I just transfer them to fox farm ocean soil and finish the grow that way?

dayum!!!!! they kinda look like they will pull thru with some much needed love and care. thats one issue i see with going hydro. if one plant goes, chances are the entire grow follows suit. in soil, if one plant goes, its only that plant and the rest are uneffected. good luck in getting your girls back to their healthy state.

what state do you live in?
