cornolen bees and black bees make more money for me. they are the hardest workers and I don't like Italian bees most make less honey then other bees do 4 me.i am elergit to bee stings and I spent 3 weeks in a comea so they say in the hospital but lived and that's why I took up bee keep in my orcherds for I have two decent orcerds arount 80 trees frute trees.I WEAR A BEE SUITE now just to be safe and keep a epepen to give my sealf a shot if I get stung in the head.all my kin says that the bees will be the death of me but I had to do it to over come my fear for I hate to be afread of any thing and I love honey.wild bees is the best bees if you can find a tree to cut there more mite rescent and ccd.i cant spell for shit but mabey you can read some of it.ps keep plenty supers on the hives earley and they wount hardly sworm.when they get crowed that is what causes sworming.i learnt from a hold bee keeper to put on plenty of supers befor the honey flow starts .you can also do a walk away split with out a queen and the workers will make a new queen just make sure the the brood is no older then 72 houres old.there lots of tricks to bee keeping for honey.IT would be best to buy your first hive from a person that will help teach you.youtube is also a good place to learn for beginners.please forgive my shitty spelling..ky

Your kin are right. The bees WILL be the death of you. Allergies do NOT decrease but increase in severity with each new sting. But I do appreciate you keeping bees. Be safe. And have 2 of those damned epi pens with you, and another in the house plus your cell for 911.
 
I do keep them epi pens close by but still to the er I go some times.Like I said I can onley die one time so why die scard.I WILL probley let my nefue take over my bees but I get bored and got to play some times.thank you for the wornings but I know the risk.ky
 
i always liked the carnolian and caucasians ..i dunno about yield but they were more gentle

as the decades progressed it seems i did get more allergic..not tongue swelling kind but the start of a general histamine reaction..
