i know its not a weed topic but wow got a cease and desist letter in the mail from a online review i made a few months ago.

states if all evidence of my posts are not removed with in 72 hours i will be summons to court

lol fuck me what a world we live in and so much for freedom of speech in Australia

id so love to fight this in court but i dont want to pay out my ass lawyer

i was thinking about review bombing them but its not worth the effort

personally i just find it funny that a company can threaten to take someone to court over a online post/review

they made me sine a letter saying i cant name the company or talk shit about them by name online or to any person in person like wtf

Australia is awesome you not as much. How would they get you address to receive a letter it’s bullshit. I’d be more worried about the cops mate because your f’d if all your online shit hits the courts but like @nxsov180db in Oz like the States they are a bullshit letter asking you to be nice. You don’t sign anything.

i know right but here the claim is of section 14 defamation at 2005 sa. its a hole lot of legal crap. pretty much says if i dont like what you say about me i can sue you lol

Behind my house is a retirement community and everyone on my side of the street has this long cinder block wall, separating our back yards from their community. You know how when a cinder block wall get wet from water sprinklers it eventually stains the other side of the was with hard water damage. Well everyone on my side of the street got this official legal doc from a law firm requesting that we all chip in to pay for the damage and to have the wall sealed to protect from future water damage or that retirement community were suing us all for the damages.I showed it to my gardener I had back then and he said I think they’re trying to scare you guys into paying. He said he thought they were bluffing. 3-4 years later, haven’t heard anything about it again.

They’re probably trying to scare you into silence bro.

well i signed because it was the easiest way to make them piss off

it was a review after a booking/meeting i had with a company. after i was asked to leave my review online and i wasn't very nice i guess

In the states we have an app called Yelp and people talk shit all the time on Yelp about shity restaurants. That’s what the app is for, for reviewing restaurants, stores, bars, everything that pertains to customer service. Good or bad.
