White Widow/Big Bud from dopeseeds.com.
I grew them twice.Good yeilds. Not blow your head off weed, but still potent. That was outdoors
I'm trying Dr. greenthumbs new strain called "the dope".
His biggest yielder he's ever created and apparently super potent, according to him.
He is sold out already.
When suggesting a strain it is always helpful and polite to mention the breeder too. Possibly by saying you purchased from dopeseeds.com. might in the end tell someone what/whose White Widow you are referring but at last count I found 24 or 25 knockoff varieties of White Widow plus Doggies Nuts White Widow #1, that might not fully fit into the White Widow group since it is a #1, and then there is the original White Widow that some years back was renamed Black Widow. So depending on what someone counts or does not count there is like 25 to 27 White Widow strains to pick from and some are rather different from each other.
That is also what makes asking for or giving advice about White Widow dangerous if the person asking and the person telling do not both mention which breeder the strain the are asking about or advising on came from. It might be the easiest strain there is to give inaccurate advice about because there are so many different genetic varieties of it out.
Before offering any suggestions for strains I would need to know if you are a sativa lover, a lover of something predominantly sativa, roughly a 50/50 sativa/indica cross or something predominantly indica or a pure indica. Other things like setup/area/size/usably height of grow area would be useful. If the length of flowering time is a big factor. If yield is a bigger factor than potency, as in someone suggesting Big Bud when most breeder’s varieties of it yield well it is not famous for its kick so is potency or yield more important or equally important. Is odor while growing a consideration or possible problem? Likely another 8 or 10 questions could be asked but since I did not sleep a wink last night and am feeling rather groggy about now more possibly pertinent questions are not popping into my head at the moment … but there are others worth asking besides the ones I mentioned before advising someone on choosing a strain or strains.
To help pick a strain I might suggest doing a little research here:
http://en.seedfinder.eu/ You can find information on
2128 different cannabis varieties.
1879 of them from 122 established breeders - linked and expanded with
77 pure local breeds,
26 clone-only strains and
146 various unknown or legendary varieties there.
Then to find the best deal from a quality seedbank I would suggest going here
http://www.seedbankupdate.com/su.html and start looking at the seedbanks with the highest ratings and work down from there. When the right strain or strains have been picked and found for a reasonable price at a reputable seedbank .... it will be time to purchase.
