I loved that book as a kid as I also longed for a dog that my parents would not let me have.As a kid I also liked Shell Silversteins poem books a light in the attic and where the side walk ends.He also wrote a lot of good songs like freakin at the freakers ball and to get my rocks off sung by Dr.Hook.where the red fern grows
Pretty much any Michael Chrichton book
also R.A. Salvatore, mostly the Drizzt series
I prefer greenwood over salvatore, he grandparents his characters too much.I love Salvatore's fight scenes, they're awesome. The dragonlance books are really well written as well....Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman are a really good writing team.TSR actually had a lot of good writers...Ed Greenwood,Paul Kidd, Troy Denning....
Got any reptiles? I have Bearded dragons and geckos. All of Hunter S Thompson's books,F.Nietzsche twilight of the idols/The Anti Christ,Anton Lavey's The Devil's notebook,Ed Big Daddy Roth bio.Anton Lavey Bio,The holy bible,Freak like me the Jim Rose story.all kinds of reptile books,Books on dog breeds and motorcycle books,Sonny Barger bio,Chuck Zito street justice. To name a few off the top of my head.
