So I have some friends in the industry that work for and with Advanced Nutrients
Now you guys know I am a Super Soil dude and thats not going to change. I can't be bought and I won't lie but I do really dig a few of there products and I have seen some massive buds grown using AN products.

They do however have enough capitol to do some cool stuff so about 2 months ago I was contacted and offered a actual position with there new website and I accepted.

I have like 3 weeks worth of stuff submitted and they will be posting like 2 new articles per week here soon so I wanted to give a shout out and invite everyone over to give it a read.

Its not a forum so no competition here its a digital magazine like Heads tryed a few years back and like Cannabis Culture is now.

Here is my opening article

Please check out the site and tell your friends I have a new job :)

All those years of hard growing and counting pores in block are paying off with some sweet gigs. I have heard you mention bud candy before.
Congrats

its a shame that heads didn't make it in the digital world as i loved their magazine, and just picked up a "new" issue of it from this magazine store that i go to that sells older mags.. it was a good publication that wasn't strictly about cannabis, but more about the lifestyle around it, which i enjoyed..
anyhoo's, i'll surely check out the new site.. sounds pretty nice..
so is it strictly all about cannabis sub, or is it more of a lifestyle thing kind of like how heads was??

for starters, i dislike the prices on AN products. however, the 3 part system is a complete fertilizer.
i have never understood bud candy....
an excessively weak K booster, with B vitamins, molasses, citric acid and amino acids.
and its supposed to make your buds taste "sweeter", when i know for a fact that plants cant transfer sugar from the nutrients to the fruits, and burning sugar dosent taste good.
im sorry about the rant Subcool, i have nothing but good things to say about "SuperSoil" and TGA Genetics, just kinda curious why you use this Snake Oil bud candy?
this part is my favorite.

Sweet as Candy
Imagine back into your past when you were a kid at the County Fair and you were eating cotton candy. It was pure delight that melted in your mouth and left your fingers gooey and sticky. The taste and those smells, it drove you crazy! Not only that, but you got a huge, immediate jolt of energy from all that sweet stuff...full of get-up-and-go you ran around the County Fair with your mother barely being able to keep up, and having the time of your life. Bring Bud Candy home for your plants. Savor the sweet smells and tastes you’ve always loved.

Let the scientists deal with the thinkin bud candy is a good product. They have multiple sets of nutrient families that are recommended to work well together.

ill stick with molasses, and a sprinkle of Greensand, for the 1% K. if you really want B vitamins, go buy a cheap bottle of superthrive.
hold on a sec.
• Sea kelp (seaweed) contains more than 60 essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Sea kelp also contains magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, potassium, zinc and natural sea salt. It has the highest natural concentration of calcium of any food (10 times more than milk)
so if i added some kelp flakes to my Super Soil it would have more then enough of most micro's.
thats the part a dislike most, super soil has everything a plant needs, why add a tiny (overpriced) bit more?

still want bud candy?

I was using sugars and citric acid back 3 decades ago created by my Mentor it was Called Nesta Juice FYI thats Bobs Middle name :)
Over the last three decades I have used many of these type of products, my own mix, Earth Juice Catalist, Sweetleaf, Sweet, and a few others.
U make the statement "when i know for a fact that plants cant transfer sugar from the nutrients to the fruits, and burning sugar dosent taste good."
Your incorrect in this aspect Clark clearly spells out the krebs cycle in MJ botany and farmers have been putting sugars and citric acid on crops for hundreds of years to improve the flavor.
I use Bud Candy because I feel it produces more resinous flowers and enhances the taste.

I am not by any means jumping on someones band wagon I buy very few bottled products from anyone and I do feel that most AN products are over priced and they know this cause I told em so.
My role on the new site is that of an Organics proponent and I hope to add some balance.

its good that AN has someone to help them out, and lowering the price of the organics would make it easier to sell.
i took a short look at the organic AN products at my semi local hydro shop and was unimpressed by the price/strength of their products.
and im not just about the cost per bottle, its about the strength of whats in the bottle. 50$ for a litre of 4-1-4 is too much.
especially when all these things are already in your super soil recipe.
