A1-CH f6 - Probably just self itself. And I misted the small one of course. The taller one just started taking off.

12_17_15.JPG Small but frosty as hell. Im not paying attention. These were planted at the same time. wtf I need to go dig up some dates. We may have the earliest, frostiest, stinkiest, beautifully colored finishing auto on record. hehe

Well I've been slacking. Let's see here. I was misting a branch on a nice plant and it hermed. I stopped misting and a few weeks later cut that branch off and set it aside.

Picked another plant and started misting a branch. Never did see any pollen.

Now let's go back to the branch I cut off. So I go look at it and there are yellow flowers here and there.

Ok I'm getting desperate here. So I take that branch/bud with the flowers and go shake it over the new branch I was misting. I believe I have seeds now. I'm not touching it. I already bent the stem a couple weeks ago twisting it around.

Pics to follow.

Oh ya. I missed a watering around X MAS . Some yellow leaves. Oops.

Alrighty - here we go. Today was chop time for 6 of the 8 BKR f1s. The TMist and homemade CS seemed to be a failure this round. My thinking was, I'll wait until I see some traits I like then start misting as long as there are white hairs. Well my thinking was flawed.

I think what I will do next round is start misting a BKR f2 plant when it's 5-6-7"s tall and save the pollen for the others when they show traits I'm looking for.

Remember - These aren't the biggest of plants. They were grown 4 to a tote. A few random pics.

I cut these at the base. When I have some time, I will rinse the dirt off and take some pics of all the intertwined roots.

So what the hell. My seed run didn't work. I know for certain I had hermies. About half went that route. It was a jungle in there and I did my best to pluck everything off. I know I missed a few.

Also found this today. It is on the branch I misted with TMist. Hmmmmmmmm I found it quickly and did not continue the search. There must be more in there somewhere. Will wait for the dry.

Is it a herm seed? Maybe probably?? Don't really know for 100%. It is an f2 seed. Looks good. Suppose I can breed out the hermie tendency in the f3s or f4s.

Super frosty! Should be potent smoke. I wouldn't try to breed out the hermie'ing tho. I'd just try again with different parents, and pre-emptively "weed" out the hermie gene that way.

Round #2

BKR F2s

Regarding the hermie issue. I THINK these seeds are from the (half assed job of the Tmisted) branch. I do know that this branch, with these seeds, came from one of the frosty plants.

I'm going to go ahead and pick the best 8 of these and plant 4 to a tote again and see what happens.

Ya I know. Chezzy ass red cups. Well I decided to recycle and made these out of newspaper. I thought they would fall apart when they got wet. I was wrong. Besides, instead of dumping everything out of the red cup and transplanting, now I'll just rip the bottom and place them right in the dirt.

And of course there is always one of these in the bunch. I have grown these out in the past. They end up fine like the others. This will not be a selected plant for this project though.

Let's roll with round #2. I transplanted the best eight to the totes today. 4 each again.

Way easier to transplant compared to red cups. Rip the bottom out and throw it in the dirt. They have their own 400 on the left.

That's it for now. Oh ya. Broke my wand piece to the DaBuddha while hitting some hash a bit ago. Crap. The thing wormed itself to the concrete.

Good luck with these. Hopefully this round is hermie free so you can move on to the next generation.
Those newspaper pots are pretty cool, too. They make transplanting easy and stress free for the plant, and can act as a smart-pots if you make them big/sturdy enough.
