hmm alright, for the sake of science! and... not having anything left to lose, I decided to go the habanero route. I did like a 4x concentration of what was recommended, added some organic dish soap for a surfactant, and fucking drenched my entire grown tent. Every bit of plant matter was dripping. My RH is 90% (from 50%) in the tent now, and that's almost entirely pepper juice.

What software is that me wants

Im starting with the mighty wash treatment, just going to hit it every few days. The gals are much bigger now, but I'm going to kill one tomorrow and start LSTing again. I figure with the overall less amount of leaves, eradication and prevention might be a tad easier. Been taking leaf samples and watching closely with a loupe, so far I only see dead adults and lots of eggs of unknown state =\

As far as the software, its part of my DIY environmental control im doing (more info https://www.rollitup.org/t/software-engineer-grows-weed-pt-1.916235/)

try predatory mites, they are working marvelously for me, and NOBODY has mites like this forest I live in, I get mites every damn grow, no matter what.
applied 50,000 mites on Friday, and it's not even a week and they look a billion times better, new growth, and VERY green.
and believe me.. i'd be surprised if anyone on the planet has more experience with mites than me.
and that's a shitty fuckin honor...
Well then you are the man to talk to, finally got bit through sloppy handling of a friggin clone. In over 10 years I have never had a mite infestation because I never ever trusted a clone and only grew from seed, then I got too happy when confronted with a GG#4 clone :( Anyhow using the pepper spray method at the moment on 3x LST'd females in my flower tent, pulled a scorched earth exercise on my mother/grow tent thew out everything though I was meaning to rotate genetics anyhow. In your experience what are the best predatory mites and if possible could you provide a source? Also any opinion on if a nuke it from space action (throw out all plants, bleach clean and start from scratch) is preferable?
The whole thing pisses me off, I knew better but live and learn eh?
Thanks in advance for any insight you might share.

In my VAST fuckin mite experience the absolute best thing is predatory mites.
everything else just kills 98%, and all that's left are the resistant ones, and they breed, then you have a resistant mite infestation.
mine were resistant to pretty much everything, the only thing that'd partially work was spraying them off and dunking in essential oil dunks to physically kill the eggs.
but that only worked for a week, cuz they'd just come in from outside.

I absolutely will provide the source, for the predatory mites, he is a good dude.
I thought for sure he was full of shit when he arrogantly said his mites would knock down my mutated infestation.
But they did.

his name is Andrew
951-852-6063

maybe text him first, he is often driving

tell him greasemonkeyman sent you, the mites are a bit pricey, but they work well, and you get ZERO sprays to worry about.

the ones I got were californius, and fallacis
I think... or close to that, but you don't pick them anyways, he does, you tell him your situation and he "prescribes" the types of mites you need.

for a small grow it's probably about 100 dollars for them. (shipping is pricey)
but that lasts a long time, for me if that's what I need to do for every harvest it beats worrying about spraying them and smoking tiny mite corpses/webs, etc.

for a bad infestation you may need two applications.
I went with one application and I was fully webbed (did that sorta on purpose to see how well his mites worked)

within a week the plants had a new set of fully green leaves, and like I said, they were webbed.

The biggest advantage of the mites is NO "3-day" repeat bullshit, having to do that for 12 days is a whore, and only to see them re-infest....
but I have a shitty back (years of sports, judo/aikido, fallin from trees, and wrenchin on cars)
so for me, it was bad-fuckin ass that all I had to do was sprinkle them on the leaves like pepper, and watch them do their thing.
plus...
ok this is a bit sick, but the idea of each one of those cocksuckers dying a horrible violent death, and being eaten alive?
was pretty awesome...

A medicine man plant of mine is having an issue with spider mites. I have been brushing the under side of the leaves on a branch at a time every day or so with a soft bristle paint brush. My thinking is if I make it in-hospitable for them to live on her, then they won't. Yesterday I took 4 random leaves from 4 different spots on her and checked them for spider mites. Not a one to be found. Seems to be working for me!!!

Im thinking I might need to just give in and get me some predator mites. The guy at the local hydro store almost laughed me out when I asked about how bad spider mites were in colorado.

big thanks to @greasemonkeymann for the contact!

yea, I gotta reapply mine too, the first app got 99% of them within 6 days, and my plants were webbed.
