Thanks double & fumble!

Allright! We have a plan! I am going to make some homemade flood tables, and then this is what Im going to do, I have 15 or so staiva dom plants that are in half gallon soil bags, and then have another 12 indica kush plants in plastic keg cups. All of those plants are going into my homemade flood table for dwc. This will serve to be my mother table, and as they get bigger they will go into individual buckets over time. I am putting them in one table for now because they are all about the same size and should take about the same strength in feed dosages.
I am sticking with just one part grow for all veg plants, but I am going to use more chemical goodies and beneficials when I do flower eventually.
Just getting one of each strain in the water and then going from there.
Very exciting, eventually we will be running the gammint of outdoor greenhouse stuff and indoor bubble stuff. I hope it makes me a better and more rounded grower in time.

Picked up a 4 x 8 botanicare flood table for 50 cash off of craigslist, going to use it as mother board, 40 sites and 12 strains, will be creating some new cuttings in doing so, because I want to be sure all of the 40 sites are about the same size. Also got a 15 x 12 room, the garage I just cleaned up!Comes with 220 volt, window unit space, and 10 inch exhaust fan. Mostly glorious, will you grow hydro with us! Temp and Humidity controlled!

Well hope everyone had a good new year!
Me not so much, stayed in on the eve actually, feeling a little bit evil, if you will. Thats my fault, however, a couple days later on the third, the asshole neighbor who does airconditioning work and rapes elderly people on the bill got me rilled up. First off the ahole dips into the senior couples bank account this summer by charging 500 bucks on a 30 minute repair, (a bad switching diode) that connets to the compressor. I called him up and informed him that I had 3 people who do the repair for 125 bucks or less. He informed me to get bent, I informed him that I would bash is fucking skull in and then he went on tell me that he would kill me, so I told him I would be waiting outside with some of the members from the club and we would want to see this. He reluntantly apologized and returned the elder couple their money. Well, that was this summer, and on the third of Jan I was going out to my car and the asshilt drives by and gives me the finger, I reply with a hey f you! He stops and as I was walking up to his window the cowering lil bitch pulls what looks like a 40 or a 9. I advised him to pull the trigger or to get out of his vehicle, after beating on his window for a couple of minutes he decides to call the police, while Im just off felony probation, I wanted nothing to do with this. I jumped town for a couple of days, with no warrant issued to my knowledge. Lets just say some ahole hasnt seen the last of my associates, Im NOT NOT NOT talking dig a hole, as if I was, I wouldnt be broadcatsing it here, but a good face rubbing on the street is "possibly" in order. Im not a tuff guy but my limit to ass holes has a very short boundry.

Got that off my chest!
The good news is that after spending 300 bucks at the grow shop in phoenix on mcdowell (big shout out), we have 25 soil plants transplanted to 5 gal bags full of happy frog. The 2 gal slug that they were in was cheap local composted soil, containing lime, volcanic ash, topsoil, wood chips, and horse cocka, it was cheap and all we could get (afford) at the time, but lesson learned.... if you want to grow with quality, you get what you pay for! The stuff is garbage, while the plants have sustained in the poor soil, and have even grown, but with much yellowing, and slower than normal rate of growth. Dont be cheap!!

This leaves me with commercial airpump we got today and the 8 or so big airstones, I was going to get a 8 head manifold but I think the stock 6 head will be enough for the 4 x 8 flood table we picked up on craigslist. Lots of air, something like 1100 gals of air a minute, so plenty of bubbles for a 100 gal flood table.

Whats next....? Well I have a combination of 40 plants in soil and in bubble buckets, (12 or so strains), Im going to get the table up on saw horses and plywood, plumb it to sealed tight, run the airlines/stones, drill out 2 inch holes on 8 inch centers in the 1.5 inch styroboard, and then I will start placing the neoprene inserts into the styroboard. Before placing the plants in their sites, Im going to take cuttings from the larger ones and bonzai trim the larger root structures, so that they are all about the same size! Even canapy, plus Im guessing Im going to end up with 100 or so cuttings, if anyone is going to be near Phoenix, let me know and you can have some freebies on me. The rest will probably go outside with no veg time to just flower out in plastic keg cups, should be fun to watch, (somg) sea of midget green.

Once thats done I will add the dutch masters feed line to the table, I decided to spend a lil extra dead presidents on the chemicals, because once again, you get what you pay for. Ultimatly the price on D.M. was very cheap in compare to gh, humboldt, botanigarbage, and a few others.

So thats tommorrow task, as transplanting 24 two gal conatiners to 5 gal ones took up the bulk of today. Its funny when it comes transplant time with soil, all patients and friends become scarce! Oh well!

I will get some pics of the table as soon as Im done, as Im most excited, and hope it proves to be most glorious.

Happy frog and guard kitty on duty.

Hey-suse H. Christ vdog...you are the shit. You just talk about all this stuff like it is some random thing that you are just tinkering with. But all the while - you have this major shit going on. I am more than impressed with all the things you have posted and your total set-up. Way cool. And it seems you are always adding to it. I am in awe.

As for the asshole neighbors...don't worry, they always get theirs. Takes years sometimes, but karma always comes back around.

Blackskull bubble bud, we have 3 phenos of it, a green sativa pheno, a green indica pheno that grows real weird with only 3 leaf blade clusters until about 18 inchs tall and then it makes sets of 5 blades, didnt even think it was mj at first. Finally the third pheno which turns almost all lavender and is sativa in nature. The next seasons outdoor winter run should be fun because Im going to run alot more strains if not all of them on hand outside, as Im sure there has got to be another strain in there that turns nice colors. The sensi skunk 1 we have outside right now in flower was only green this summer with orange pistils but currently in the 40 degree lows at night the skunk also has shifted to purple calyxs, but with green leaves.

Im excited about today, going to a football playoff party at a friends, I was going to finish the flood table today but it looks like one more day in the garage alone. The good thing is that I bought a 3/4 inch piece of plywood and made 4 saw horses yesterday so that the flood table can rest on top of it. I made the saw horses only 2 foot tall so that a drain reservoir could still fit underneath it but still allow plenty of room for vertical growth. Those plants will be geeting chopped on quit a bit for cuttings in the future so that ok. I also measured out and made my grid on the 1 1/2 inch thick styroboard, with 8 inch centers, it left me with 72 plant sites on a 4 x 8 table. Just big enough to make a couple of cuttings at each site.

Really looking forward to running the dutch masters gold formula in hydro in the next couple of days, and really excited about setting up the flower tables in the near future. The flower zone is going to have a vented hood, a window unit, and a humidifier. Would like to run a water chiller but that will come later, just trying to get modular units set up right now.

Worst case scenario the plants that I have outside right now in veg, they will stay in veg until may and then be flowered out in the a/c cooled and humidity controlled garage this summer. Unless we go back up in the mountains this summer, which I dont see happening, due to moving more indoors I wont be flowering outside in the phoenix summer heat again. This was a problem that I knew that I would be facing the next season and with very simple thought I dont want to do again. Those wonderful plants took a beating in 115 degree weather during flower. Live and learn, I want to work on quality and not quantity, and once I do get relocated to cooler weather I will commit to a larger outdoor set up. However, on a smaller outdoor scale, I would love to run atleast some of the veggin skunks that I have outdoors under night lights all the way thru summer solstice but keep in veg until mid September and then turn off the night light to force flower when the weather is cooler and more condusive to quality budding process.

If anyone has a suggestion, Im all ears.

Ok applied a little silicon around the base of the drain hoses to the table at 1130 am, says its shower ready in three hours so at 200 pm I will check to see where its at and maybe move the saw horses, the plywood, and the table in. Crap forgot I need to scrub it down first... no biggie. Im excited because the nutrient water is going in, then the airhoses with stones, place the pump with manifold, place the styroboard with neoprene inserts, and then I hope to get the plants to go into it too. The best thing about getting set up with new hydro is the anticipation of rocket fueled growth. This new to me Dutch Masters Gold has got me excited too, I will run a little of everyone to be honest, as I have had great success with advanced nuts too. Im so damn pumped to get this mother board dialed in and then I can start setting up single strain veg trays along with an equal amount of flower trays, modular additions, one at a time, very nice sounding to me. Maybe blow out the garage with the 250 watt hps street lights to flower in, and build another comparable indoor room with the same amount of trays try and get that perpetual going with sog.

Running smaller totes to flush the plants out after coming from that nasty nasty soil. Will set up table later this week, but for now we are flushing with bubble power, so that means the next step, we are plannng on a 60 day flower cycle, BUT we will have plants that are 95 days old in veg before running in 60 day flower. That will happen by taking early cuts a growing in a seperate location so that they age 5 weeks before going into the veg table on day 1. 3 months of hydro veg should be good for nice sog colas???? If you think I have shitty plans and skills please tell me, I want to be a better grower. The 5 gal plants outside in veg, are in fact next years carport grow, but will only veg outside until June, to hot after that. If you live where its 75 all year (Hawaii) I will rent your backyard. I know I am a crappy grower, and desperatly need your help.

Brother, you need to come to the spring BBQ, so we can sit down & talk.
IMHO you are over complicating things. You need to slow down a little bit, your trying too many new things at once. You don't know what's helping & what's not.
You can still flower outside there bro, just put up some "sun screen mesh" works like a charm, you'll get huge frosty buds

Good luck

peace

Smoked a bunch of hash feeling better, anyways Im going to take cuttings tommorrow of Jack Herer, skunk, power bud, and bubble bud. Going to put them in soil and ziplocks, I use the Home Depot cloning powder, it works great. Like most of my gear, cheap, real cheap. So thats good, I like taking cuttings it makes me relaxed, thank you for the input, Im just looking for good genes that I want to keep, Im not keeping 12, theres no way, just like 3 or 4. We like the jack, we are keeping that for sure.
