I got a wakeup call from a mockingbird outside the window @0600. The windows are all open and a fan in the back door taking advantage of the coolness.

Now we have Quail laying eggs in another pot. We've got lizards, doves, quail and some other bird that hatched their brood and left a perfect little nest. Never did identify them.
For some reason our patio is a popular place for nesting.
I think it's because of all the plants we've grown in the back yard, it's kind of a little green oasis.
Hopefully we can keep the dogs from eating the chicks. One year it was a horror show, we let the dogs out just in time to decimate a flock of newborns[unintentional]. The dogs were so happy, look nuggets with legs! Yummy.

We just started to hit the 90's and my son's AC unit went out got to go fix that soon as the part comes in put a window unit to keep the granddaughters cool yuppers fun fun

I saw them live at the Mississippi River festival back in 71 or so.
One of the best concerts I've ever seen. Of course tripping on some purple micro dot might have enhanced the experience.
