I love conversations like this as I've just come upstairs for lunch:
Mrs. S: "How is your day going?"
Me: "A tad slow."
( Mrs. S disappears downstairs for a few minutes )
Mrs. S: "Well I am going to step out for a few hours after lunch."
Me: "I hope you enjoy your afternoon."
Mrs. S: "I hope you enjoy yours too."
Didn't think anything of that so we finished lunch. She headed out for her afternoon activities and I came down to the lapper:
Now I know what that lovely little scamp was doing!
Would you please pardon me for a few seconds gang?

No boats or planes here...and I don't drink or try to snort the world anymore...so the idea of a freeze dryer just to make my hash was an easy sell to the wife.
Unless I keep the tent fired up in Summer...my drying period usually coincide with the weather going to shit in the Fall and my garage heads to 60F/60% quickly most years...otherwise I'd be telling her about the Koolatron....LOL.

Great marketing, give them a 'freebie' on a product that you're trying to promote, anyway. I used to include a hash puck (about a gram) or a couple of brownies whenever they'd buy an ounce or more. They started to crave the freebies and pay extra for them when the promo stopped.

That was a good haul on that pipe - I counted 8 good lung fulls before I forgot to keep counting. Thank you so much Mrs. S.
She is now at our local library printing and cutting her sewing patterns on freezer paper. Her descriptions at lunch lost me but she was so passionate about it I didn't want to stop her.
So ... anyone out here on RIU know what that is?

It isn't really a viable purchase unless you grow a >substantial amount <of weed and want to make hash/hash rosin/etc. or are a survivalist-type. Or...yeah...yer old and retired and $ee that you can't take it with you. (checks box) I never tried drying bud with it. Not sure why you'd do it...but hey...folks do all sorts of shit in WeedLand.
