Excellent man, thanks alot. My family use to own a parts store that closed down back in the early 90's but to this day still have about $80,000 in inventory left over, not to mention LOTS of those parts shelves laying around so that gives me a whole new idea. Why not just build you another room out of the shelving materials and have two of them ?? I see the legs on yours are cut pretty short, the ones I have are 6-7' tall.

I know this is a whole different topic but still on your grow, but I do not understand an ebb and flow system. Can you explain how the system works ?? What does ebb mean and how does that type of system work ?? I have looked intensly at the hydropontics/aeroponics/bubbeponics systems but have not found much detailed info on how an ebb n' flow system works. Do you just flood the trays the pots are sitting in ?? I see the blac pipe coming up in the middle. How often, where does the water come from, where does the excess go, there HAS to be a link somewhere that explains it but I be damn if I have found one yet, lol. A video like stealthhydro.com has would be awesome as hell.

Thanks for all the help yoyo.

Do you guys have any left over lights i could buy???

Im going to get a tent because its going to be in my bedroom ant those frames aren't the nicest things to look at if you know what i mean. As for the ebb n' flow its really easy to make one.

List of stuff you need
-18 gallon storage tote or however big you want your resevoir to be.
-Cement mixing tray from home depot...just ask them where they are they will show you
-Water pump from a hydro store
-Air stone from a hydro store or pet shop in the fish section
-Air pump for the airstone...usually found in the same area
-Hoses for the air pump and the water pump
-Ebb 'n flow fixtures from hydro store or google it to buy online

Assembly
-Cut 2 holes in the lid of the storage bin the size of the hose that connects to the water pump. Put the ebb n' flow bits in those holes. Connect a hose from the short "flow" fixture to the water pump and connect a hose from the taller fixture and going back into the storage bin. Set up your airstone with the air pump so that the water being pumped into your plants has plenty of oxygen.

How it works
When you flood the table, about 2 times per day for 1/2 hour at a time (get a timer and connect your air pump and water pump to it to make this easy) the water pump will send water up the hose and through the flow fitting which floods the table. The reason why the other piece is taller is so it doesn't overflow. When the water level reaches the top of the taller piece it drains back down into the resevoir. Thats really all there is to it. Make sure the hoses are connected tight so there are no leaks and get a storage bin that is a solid color so no light can get in and grow algae.

Here are some pics of mine.

Thats the air pump on the left.

Thanks man. No, we don't have any lights at all, they all belonged to the owner of the building plus they were only clf tubes anyways. I don't have any hydro store anywhere near me so nowhere to go around here to buy supplies or get knowledge.

I have found that HTGSupply on ebay has excellent prices on lights.

Thanks again.

There are a few videos on youtube of a step by step process to build one, real good info, I just wasn't sure HOW the system worked, now I see and understand.

Well the males produce pollen, which pollinate the flowers on the girl strawberry plant. Haven't grown strawberries before but I would like to try sometime.

The seeds are alive. I just planted them in soil this morning and have my 250 watt mh going on them to keep it warm in there. I got the seeds from Dr. Chronic. Even though everyone is hating on him I got my seeds in 3 days in the US. I hope these little ones do well.

Thanks for stopping by chook.

yoyo, that is the EXACT light I am looking at getting , even from the same EXACT people, that place has some real good prices. Do you have any idea what cfm fan would be needed for that light and how loud or noisy the fans are ??? I am wondering if that fun is running in my back room closet will I be able to hear it from other parts of the house. Any idea on that ??
