I just wanted to post some pics of where they are now. It won't be much longer. It is the final stretch before harvest time. The Boss Hogg buds are starting to flop over from their weight. It is beautiful!

Thanks! Well there are plenty that I have grown that turned out really good. Some of my favorite's are HSO Blue Dream, OG Raskal White Fire, Alphakronik White Diamonds, and Gage Green Genetics Grape Puff. There have been plenty of other's that I just can't think of off the top of my head right now. It's all about what you are looking for you in your strain. I have had some strains where you only get 1 keeper pheno out of a whole pack, but it is just on another level of greatness. Then you have a strain like HSO Blue Dream that has almost exact replica's with every seed. I am liking that because it is a dependable strain for me.

Lookin really good man, my seedlings are about the same size. All my hso are boomin. I harvested my gdp and other chron plant but my blue dream is still in the tent. Its at almost 9 weeks and still not near finished. The colas are huge but id say 80%+ of my pistils are still white and they just aren't near as dense as the gdp. They feel like they have alot of hardening left to do and hopefully the calyxes will start swelling. Looks like it could go another 2-3 weeks which is disappointing. Yellowing out quite a bit though. But your lookin great cant wait to see some harvest pictures!

As for the strains that I have going right now, I have 2 RP OG#18's, 1 HSO Blue Dream, 1 GHS Super Lemon Haze, 1 TH Seed's Underdawg OG, 1 Reg CC Boss Hogg, 1 Reg OGR White Fire Alien, and 1 Big Buddah Buddah Tahoe. Right now 1 of the OG#18's is the tallest plant of the bunch with the Blue Dream close behind. The BD is looking like a clone of all the other one's I have grown in the past. That is why I love this strain. You can pop a seed knowing what to expect every time. Anyways I am going to have to get rid of some of these. I only want to grow 4-5 plants, so I am going to have to figure something out. A 600w light just isn't enough for that many plants. It looks like the White Fire Alien is going to be a dude. It looks like it has balls that are starting to form. It could just be some new leaves though. I will give it a few more days and see what happens. Anyways they all look really healthy with no deficiencies yet. I did give them a dose of Botanicare Veg nutes and some Cal/Mag just to try to keep them leaves green a bit longer. That was the first time i gave them anything but water so far. I trimmed some of the bottom branches off of the plants to get some extra air flow down there. Plus it wouldn't be worth smoking that popcorn crap anyways. They just don't get enough light down there indoors, so I always get rid of it around this time in my grows. Anyways here are the pics that I took:

Well, I have harvested all of my plants. Some were harvested at 60 days and some at 65 and some at 67. The Buddah Tahoe and Underdawg OG were a harvested at 60 days. The Boss Hogg and Blue Dream were harvested at Day 65. And the Super lemon Haze and OG#18 were harvested at 67 days. I forgot to take pics of all of them before I harvested them, but I did get a few before I chopped them.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Cali connection's Boss Hogg. It is probably my favorite strain out of the 6 that I grew this run. Anyways here are some pics of the Boss Hogg.

I will write some generic smoke reports here in a week or so. I want to give them a quick cure before I try to give my report. So from from what I have smoked all of them tasted really good. I am quite happy with the quality, but my yield totally sucked. I haven't even weighed it, because I am so embarrassed about it.I am only growing 4 plants and hoping that them having more room will help in the yield department. I guess I will see in a few months. Wish me luck!

Nice looking bud shots, and damn those stems are strong, I always end up with wimpy stems like this:



Do you add something to help strengthen the stems?

No, I sure didn't. I'm assuming it is just a strain dependant type characteristic. My Boss Hogg had some floppy ass stems that were practically about to break from the weight of the buds. The Buddah Tahoe had those strong sturdy stems that were hollow in the middle. I noticed this when I was harvesting it.

Try using bamboo sticks. Then wrap your branches around the bamboo giving your branches some support. You can also use some string to hold the branches up so they aren't laying on the ground. Best of luck to you bro!

I've already transplanted 2 of my 4 new plants that I have going. The HSO Green Crack is growing like a freakin weed! Lol! The HSO Blue Dream is not to far behind either. I just transplanted them into their final homes of 5g pots. I mixed Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil with some perlite and some Miracle Grow soil. I guess each pot got about 1/3rd MG soil and the rest FFOF soil. I like the MG soil because it has that peat moss or something in it that the FFOF doesn't. I had the soil, so I figured what the hell and gave it a try. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me in the ass. lol! I will be transplanting the HSO Amherst Sour D and Bubba Kush as soon as they get a little bigger. Probably another few days. I'm not for sure if I am going to do a journal on them, but I will post some pics from time to time when they get into flower. I still could change my mind and post updates on a regular. Lol! I just haven't made up my mind just yet. I have alot of work going on, and I don't have much time to spend on doing my hobbies as much as I like. That's being an adult i guess! Lol!
