Blue dream temperature in flower

Hi all.

I see a lot of conflicting information in general when searching online. Some people say 85 is too high in flower. Some say blue dream likes warmer temps and 85 is fine.

What temperature do you think I should be targeting? Thanks!

What kind of light are you running? Also is your environment dialed in to where you have good control of the humidity level? 85 is about as high as I'd want to run and I'd prefer 82 or lower in late flower. Blue dream is not different, in my experience, from other cannabis strains as far as what temp it likes. It's a big yielding stretchy plant that's pretty easy to care for.

I'm running two 730 watt 5x5 ionframe evo8 LEDs(at 60%), with AC infinity supplementals and UV supplementals on full and my rh is 47-52% with light on currently. 4 weeks into flower.

My temp with lights on ranges from 82 to 85, It usually doesn't stay at 85 long but it will touch it while the house AC is doing its thing throughout the day. It spends most time in the 83 range

It sounds like to be safe I should probably target a couple degrees cooler

Keeping the temp a little lower will help your VPD stay reasonable and can prevent terpene loss that can start to occur with hotter temps. How big of an area are you in in that you need so much light? Do you know what the ppfd levels are at the canopy?

Appreciate the wisdom! It's my first attempt with this equipment obviously, and has been many years since some previous amateur grow experience.

I'm using a 10x5 tent, one light in each 5x5 section.

I don't have the tools to do a reading in the tent yet, but using the ionframe ppfd charts + chatgpts estimates im coming in at around 900 ppfd at 20" above canopy. I'm sure guesstimation isn't the best way to do this but the plants "pray" and have grown under and have seemed to tolerate it so far

Everything's not terrible so far. The plants are not as green as I expect which is why I'm here, I'm trying to narrow the cause down from - lights/heat/over watering/ro system w/no CalMag(being remedied).

I've also read that Blue dream doesn't get super green so maybe I'm just overthinking things.

Soil - Roots Organic nutes, 6x 10ga fabric pots, ph between 5.5-6 when watering, Feed/Feed/Water, around 1.3 gallons each plant every 3 days now - also using Growers Recharge every few plain water days.

That sounds great for your space. My blue dream were a bright color green not dark like Bubba Kush gets. What and how much are you feeding them? You're just getting over the stretch and that eats up a good amount of Nitrogen for sure. They're looking good and hopefully you'll get a great harvest from them.

I've been growing in roots organic original for over 5 years now. I keep pH between 6.3-6.5 in veg and drift to 6.5-6.7 in flower. That seems really low for ph. Even though roots is coco based it still wants pH for soil grows and not coco.

Noted, I will work on that for future waterings and grows, thanks for the re-assurance that things don't look too bad off so far, ill work on keeping that PH higher though, hopefully the under-ph-ing doesnt bring up issues! Appreciate it.

To answer your question about what i'm feeding, I stole this from a forum somewhere and ran with it! Probably adding 5mg/gal CalMag in the next feed as I am running RO and I see a lot of "you need calmag if you are using RO."

Vegatative stage:
15ml/gallon Buddha grow
5ml/gallon extreme serene
15ml/g ancient amber
15ml/g trinity

Flowering stage:
-week 1-3
15ml Buddha grow
15ml Buddha bloom
5ml extreme Serene
15ml trinity
5ml ancient amber

-week4-6 <-- I am here
10ml Buddha grow(depending on strain)
20ml Buddha bloom
15ml trinity
5ml hpk

-week 7-10
15ml buddha bloom
15ml trinity
15ml hpk
10ml ancient amber

-week 10-12
5ml trinity
5ml ancient amber

I'm not familiar with that line but it seems well thought our as far as keeping the grow formula through stretch. I try to keep things simple and have used dry amendments and now I'm using Jack's Classic 321. Keeping them healthy and in a good environment is more important than any additives I've found. I'm running a Blue Dream in my veg tent for the next flower cycle and I'm getting the clone only version in a few weeks when it cools down some. I've been wanting to run the Santa Cruz cut of it for awhile. I still have a couple weeks before harvest and then I'll get the Blue Dream in my 5x5 for flower.

Love it! Ill take a look at Jacks... I was considering dry next run because liquid is a pain in the ass(and crazy expensive)... Clear proof here that I don't need the hassle

Man that tent is packed like a sardine can. Nice buds, and nice leaves too, nice and green this late into flower.

I know this is late but this is my blue dream week 3 flower under a mars hydro led and a blurple light from viparspectra (needed more ppfd and said screw it, can’t hurt right?) anyway this is the Santa Cruz cut but I love the high from this keeper, maybe a little light stress but otherwise looking healthy in the dwc system
