Mines through the softener. And my well water is super hard and like 350-400ppm

I'll just use my ro then. I can always add some nutes if needed.
She takes a little longer in my aero cloner than my others but 21 days or less she always reliably rooted for me.

I spray my plugs twice a day. Some strains will damp off if you leave them sitting in water all the time. Yes heating mat, but cut it in the summer. Clonex, tap water, no nutes. I can consistently get them into solos in 14 days this way. Roots poke out in 6-9
Don't know if it's the best way, but it works very well for me. I've been doing a perpetual grow in various size gardens for 25 years now. I will say that the cloneability (yes, that's a word now) of chernobyl is very pheno dependant. I had to retake clones from 4 plants. One was hopeless. Keep in mind that I hardly lose a clone in each batch I take. Maybe 4 or 5 a year out of 100+
The ones that do root well, root very well. So if you just popped a few here and there, you got lucky. Or, I'm an idiot. That has been established as well.

For clarification. I don't have that dome. I meant to say that I have the same piece of crap I've been using since i started, but it is mostly flex seal now
