That made me smile...I use to have a little dog a friend called fugly and the name stuck...rest in peace Fugs.
Plants are looking nice and frosty LG!! I was looking at my Meltdowns tonight. They are only about 2 weeks into flower and already getting frosty.

I'm getting over 80° now with lights on and staying above 70° when lights are out!

I"m about two weeks out from harvest on five of the six. I have one that looks like it's a couple weeks behind the others (first pic). Hopefully it catches up over the next couple weeks. I know the leaves look pretty rough.
I started slymer seeds on the weekend so they should be ready to go in in about two weeks.

I have an oil radiator heater. I covered up all the power lights with tape and then a harvest later I realized that the whole housing would glow from the power light inside the unit.... Plastic housing was so thin... SMDH

There's a lot of cool colors in there, and I especially like that really dark, almost black one. Very striking!
I'm looking into the Blumat system, and I remembered seeing that you were using it.
How do you like it?
From what I have read there is a little bit of a learning curve on the initial set up, but after that it's a breeze as long as you don't let the reservoir run dry.
What type of experience have you had so far?
I'm interested to know how you like the meltdown.

Love those colors. I’ve always loved seeing the colors evolve through flower. Sometimes it is disappointing that you lose some colors if you trim to tightly, ya know what I’m saying? Sure are pretty thoughI'm getting over 80° now with lights on and staying above 70° when lights are out!

Ive tried everything to get rid of gnats bar DE. I'm currently running BTi pellets, sticky traps, Neem drench and top dress and I've tried bottom watering.
Nothing works for me. There's not a single gnat flying around, nothing on the sticky traps but I water and 20 pop out the pot immediately and sit up the top of the tent until I'm done... I can then watch them land on traps and fly away again. Got two different brand traps in their.
Even the BTi pellets have done nothing. I Neem drench over the BTi, they vacate and within three hours they are back in the medium. They just chill around the light/filter until it dries up enough and they don't seem to care.

I'll have to cut to the chase and top dress sand or DE. Pretty much sounds like it's the only way. sand sounds cleaner and easier to water through as well. I'll probably put a fine mesh net to seal the pot.
Last ditch effort..it just annoys the shit out of me that there's never a single gnat flying around lol. The amount that came out the drainage holes was terrifying.

Sand works. If you use dry amendments for feeding it can get difficult. I also use gnatrol powder .

Hi Willie,
Always good to hear from you. This is my third run and so far I'm pretty pleased with the system and how hands off it is.
Few things I've learned through trial and error.
- The instructions provided by bluemat work well for a vegging plants, but will leave heavy drinking flowering plants under watered. I think their instructions is dial it back three arrows on the dial so that you have a single drip hanging at the end... thereabouts anyway. In flower I set it to drip quickly, one every second or so and let it go until it stops. Dialing it in is almost impossible if you're soil/coco isn't already quite moist.
- Nutrients are important. I'd avoid anything with organic compounds, you will get heavy sediment buildup and have odd nutrient issues with the first plant in the chain and possibly clogging. I used AN ph perfect coco and an calmag and it was a disaster. switched back to GH flora and calimagic and everything is fine.
- Purge your lines once a week when you change your res. When using GH nutrients you still get sedimentary build up. Either put a valve at the end of your chain or disconnect the last carrot and and let the water flow through for a bit. You'll see what looks like sand coming out. Once that stops close the valve or reconnect the carrot and let them do their thing.
I'm absolutely thrilled with @BobBitchen's genetics after three years of messing around with unstable genetics. 100% success rate with germination and my last harvest was outstanding for only having three plants, 594 grams. Last weekend I started six slymer seeds for the next run.

I'll have to get you some better pics of the plant on the far right. It reminds me of wedding cake with its small dense buds. The purple is in the buds as well as the leaves so it should look pretty once it's trimmed.
