Bombings at the Boston Marathon

getting pretty tired of seeing this going on here. wtf.

I saw a story from a guy at GITMO this moring, he was upset he was locked up for 11 years without a trial. Boo hoo. Try no planning on doing this type of thing in our Country and you won't end up there.

I predict a new detainee there soon after this........by by fuckers. No one will ever see you again, not even your mommy.

I lived in Boston for 5 years and always worried that something like this would happen - There is a high probability that the city will become very different now.

looked like it went off a bit behind the crowd. lucky it wasn't more packed or I reckon there would be a lot more dead

Fucking loving this about damned time. I love that everyone starts crying when there is an explosion in the USA, but blow up a house full of children in a sandy country because you don't know your head from your arse, and oh well, shit happens. Reap what you sow.

It was an IED, not bullets. Boston isn't "reaping what has been sowed." Boston was hit by a terrorist attack. No one knows the details about the motive, or even the affiliation, of the terrorists. I don't care about life anywhere that bombs go off. Children are no more valuable than adults. I'd argue that blowing up healthy educated people is more tragic than blowing up children, because we already know that the person is a functional, helpful part of society. A child could be the next Einstein or the next Mussolini. It's a draw. From a humanitarian stand-point, the kids are more tragic. From a purely strategic/societal standpoint, they are the most easily replaced, and therefore the most expendable.

I do think that all bombers have a streak of cowardice. I'm keeping neutral, and just updating with information I get from my large list of news sources.

Douche Bag of magnanimus proportions. The majority of Americans don't condone killing children. Nor did we cheer when trains were bombed in the UK. You probably should have cheered though seeing how your Government runs its military any where we need them.

You are hoping that an articulate (so, at least rudimentary education) person, with access to internet, and other technologies, was the victim of an attack? You do realize that the most dangerous people in the world are educated people that have their reasons for towing the line removed, don't you?

You mean those that are vocal about their beliefs, even if they lack a less volatile means of conveying their opinion, simply because of an opinion, should both suffer a terrorist attack by an "enlightened country" and then be barred from breeding? This mentality is very dangerous.

I have no issue with the London bombings, we could do with some more. We certainly deserve them, especially given our latest Libya jaunt. I am fully aware that it is not eh people, but the government, you're the ones with the power. You blow innocent people up, they blow innocent people up. If you don't think America doesn't deserve some bombings, you are naive. Don't give what you can't receive .

Saudi National, student visa.. mid-20s, and is at the unnamed hospital... which I would highly suspect is at Tufts, given the building layout, and the very limited chance of escape given what's occurred, and the guards that were put in the lobby w/MP5ks... purely speculatory.

I never suggested he be suffered a "terrorist attack" more targeted as such, and only in response to his similarly uncaring statement.
