Yeah, I've read most. Liked the character's Will Lee and Holly Barker but he hasn't published any recently. Teddy Fay and Herbie Fisher are the newest ones

I am surprised not to see Stirling's Emberverse series listed here. The very best EOTWAWKI scenarios I've read start with something ... weird.
My gripe with the above list is that physics hasn't been messed with, at which point it devolves to who keeps the tech going. More fun if stuff just quits and people have to improvise. Jmo.

Yeah it's good. I like Patterson's work but Clinton's experience as Prez gives reality to it. You can so see shit like this happening.

I used to read a certain amount of Patterson's work. Some of it was too dark for my liking. But he is skilled.
