Working through the James Patterson Private series again since it has been a few years.
Love the Stone Barrington series have you read any of the offshoots from he characters in the Barrington books?IKR? Also, any of Wood's Stone Barrington I read all the way thru.
Yeah, I've read most. Liked the character's Will Lee and Holly Barker but he hasn't published any recently. Teddy Fay and Herbie Fisher are the newest onesLove the Stone Barrington series have you read any of the offshoots from he characters in the Barrington books?
I hated Herbie when he was first introduced but now he is one of my favorites.Yeah, I've read most. Liked the character's Will Lee and Holly Barker but he hasn't published any recently. Teddy Fay and Herbie Fisher are the newest ones
I am surprised not to see Stirling's Emberverse series listed here. The very best EOTWAWKI scenarios I've read start with something ... weird.

My gripe with the above list is that physics hasn't been messed with, at which point it devolves to who keeps the tech going. More fun if stuff just quits and people have to improvise. Jmo.
We live in a wacky, wicki world.
I saw where BC was doing the round of morning shows to promote the new novel. Let us know if it's any good.Chernobyl : the history of a nuclear catastrophe / Serhii Plokhy. (Very informative. Did not realize how close we came to Global Armageddon)
The royal art of poison : fatal cosmetics, deadly medicine, filthy palaces, and murder most foul / Eleanor Herman.
The pharaoh key / Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.
The Moscow deception / Karen Robards,
SEAL Team Six : hunt the Viper / Don Mann and Ralph Pezzullo
The last lobster : boom or bust for Maine's greatest fishery? / Christopher White.
The president is missing : a novel / Bill Clinton, James Patterson.
An onshore storm : an Alan Lewrie naval adventure / Dewey Lambdin. (The best in naval historical fiction c. early 19th century England)
In the enemy's house : the secret saga of the FBI agent and the code breaker who caught the Russian spies / Howard Blum.
Their backs against the sea : the Battle of Saipan and the largest banzai attack of World War II / Bill Sloan.
Yeah it's good. I like Patterson's work but Clinton's experience as Prez gives reality to it. You can so see shit like this happening.I saw where BC was doing the round of morning shows to promote the new novel. Let us know if it's any good.
I used to read a certain amount of Patterson's work. Some of it was too dark for my liking. But he is skilled.Yeah it's good. I like Patterson's work but Clinton's experience as Prez gives reality to it. You can so see shit like this happening.
