I have the same one in that link ^honestly, that is the problem with those things, The best i have found is this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-60X-Jewelers-Loupe-Magnifier-with-LED-Fluorescence-Lights-/380584279733?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item589c973eb5

Dude I saw one of those on eBay the other day! That is awesome, I do have an iPhone so I need to do this. I bet you can get some sick pics of the trichs, and its prob way easier to see the color of them.if you have an Iphone, check it out http://www.sunlightsupply.com/p-14794-growers-edge-iphone-44s-case-with-led-pocket-microscope-60x.aspx
unlike the rs one, which I have and the other one, you don't have that steady problem. when you attach to the phone, you can zoom in with your touchscreen and take a pic. it works very well. But even without the phone, you can see everything very clear.I feel like that phone case is gonna be just like the RS scope. Its the same microscope style. Not to mention the phones gonna take a second to focus on what it's seeing in the scope. Looks like a lot going on while holding your hands perfectly steady.
Yes they stick out, while most trichs are going to be white, the amber trichs are golden brown, you will know it as soon as you see one.im having the same problem. is there any easy to use these thing lol and can u tell a amber trich when u see it or u gotta stare at it for a while?? (are the amber trich noticeable)
then you never used the one I posted, because You can see EVERYTHING with it and it can be used while the plant is in flower.Jeez guys, just clip a very tiny small piece off a sugar leaf, you won't even notice it gone. In fact it is less than trimming when you harvest. A very tiny small piece off the tip and then put it on a background and sit the scope down and look at it. There is no possible way you can hold a microscope or any other 60x type of magnification steady enough to see under it.
thanks man so soon as its under the scoope its noticeabe? hopefully it will start waving at me haha (joke)Yes they stick out, while most trichs are going to be white, the amber trichs are golden brown, you will know it as soon as you see one.
thanks for the help man. ive been looking for ambers for like 3 hours now.... maybe its just not time. has anyone used this loupe??Jeez guys, just clip a very tiny small piece off a sugar leaf, you won't even notice it gone. Oh come on. How many leaves does your plant have? Just clip a piece off. Throw it on a table. And place your scope on it.That kinda sucks you have to tear a leaf everytime you check. I was thinking like some kind of a stand that could be made to hold the scope close enough and perfectly steady.
