Bruce Banner Single plant grow

5 out of 5 cuttings rooted in the aerocloner and potted. They looknsad because the room they were in was averaging 58*, colder at night. Had to bring my promix in from the garage because it's starting to freeze out there. 7 more cuttings in plugs in a tray also rooted but I'm letting them stay there until I make a plan. Just ordered a Mars Hydro 48x60x80 2 in 1 tent so I'll be able to combine all my growing activities to one place. Will be vegging everything until midmarch when the current single plant finishes. Got 200 grams dried from the first plant, currently curing in a jar with some boveda packs and a hygrometer. Took the buds out this morning, hygrometer says 60% humidity. By the time I packed the buds back in the jar the hygrometer says it's 20% in the room. Now back in the jar it's almost back to 60%. Winter is hard for moisture management.

Day 12 flower. Starting to drink a lot of water. I was surprised to see droopy leaves this morning and pot was very light. Bud sites are definitely shaping up. Currently feeding 1tsp/gal maxibloom and 1 tsp calmag which I think I'm going to switch out for Epsom salts as I use tap water and really only need the MG and don't need excess CA. The insect visitor is a brown marmorated stinkbug. They invade my house from the nearby soybean fields every fall after harvest time and just hang out being useless until I vacuum them up which generally means they blow their stink at me. Ugh.20220101_110119.jpg20220101_110129.jpg20220101_110148.jpg

Took the plunge and bought a tent. Mars Hydro 2 in 1 with a 4x4 chamber and a 1x4 propagation side. My 6 inch fan and filter doesn't seem to be too much. I need some environmental monitoring and control. Nothing too fancy. Any advice is welcome.

My old led panels fit in the propagation side. Turned down to 90W (they're 180W max) I hope they'll be gentle enough for cuttings on the top shelf and veg/mother plants at the bottom. Have to figure out ventilation for that side as well.

Otherwise, it's day15 of flower.

Got the veg side of the tent going. Have a 4 inch vortex fan exhausting that side. Repotted one of my 7 clones to go into flower in a week or so. Now to keep the other 6 happy but small for awhile then promote one to mother and flower the others. Then maybe I'll break out the turbogardens and play in the water after that. So many possibilities!20220105_104522.jpg20220105_104529.jpg20220105_104541.jpg

I guess this journal is no longer a single plant grow. It IS a single seed grow still. I wonder what weight I can pull in my space in one year from one seed. I suppose I can add a plant to the bloom side every 2 weeks and harvest one like a mini albfuct lol. Say 12 weeks to flower so 6 plants 2 weeks apart in flower. Last plant to go into flower would be beginning of October to finish by the new year. I think I can finish 19 plants on that schedule. Lots to consider on this cold and windswept day.

Day 22 of 12/12. Had to repot clones because they filled up their first pots right away and nobody wants to water every day. Should have fed them at repotting, now I have a couple ugly leaves. No big deal.20220110_113527.jpg20220110_113250.jpg

Day 26 and Day 1 lol.Forced to put another plant into flower. I know the other 4 babies are not going to be very far behind. I need another light for the flower side, probably another sf2000 since I don't have the jingle right now for a larger size solution. I think 2 sf2000s should light this 4x4 tent pretty well. Suggestions welcome

how you liking the tent?
Should have got one long ago. It's great for containing the stench and stray light. I'm used to easily inspecting plants from any angle and if I was still doing hydro I could see it being crowded and difficult to maintain.

Next up. This was topped twice and I supercropped the top branches to get an even canopy of business. Nice healthy plant. It's extra green because I fed lightly with maxigrow. Just maxibloom from here on out though. Day 2

Are your lights coming in from the side? Any particular reason you went supercrop route over lst? Curious as I have not had much success with super cropping and had way better yields with lst. That being said I know I'm not super cropping correctly. In your experience what gives you better results? Or does each have a specific situation it would be needed for?

Previous plant I had a main light above and a 180 watt sidelight. I think my lower buds definitely benefitted and I will add that back in shortly.

I don't have a lot of experience training plants. From seed I like to top once to control height and let the side branches dominate.. The one I am flowering now was topped and all the side branches cut at the second node for clones. I supercropped some of the highest stems to even out the canopy a bit. Then the one I just put into flower is unaltered, just growing naturally for now but I may take the top depending on how it stretches. In general I don't practice techniques like lst or mainlining or pruning leaves, not sure if it's worth the effort or extra time. I grow far more than I need to just by keeping it simple.

Not sure if you mentioned this but what breeder did you choose for your Bruce banner? I have a couple of freebies from flavourchasers that I might pop.
