Buds outdoor adventure 2014

I just make my butter on the stove. Easier to monitor/ manage. I think my wife uses the high times recipe. I usually give her like 1.3 oz of trim and popcorn buds over each pound of butter. Comes out great. Just don't put it on your morning toast.....next thing you know you will be toasted all day lol.

yea ive gotta give the quicker cook a shot, They say the longer the better, but ive heard quite a few people say the fast way is just as good.

Got a shot of it all jarred up. Hopefully it lasts me a while. Doubt ill get a whole years worth like last year.

I was reading this page about making tinctures and growgoddess talks about naturally decarbing. Supposedly after about 3-4 months it will decarb itself. So I think my bud that was 12+ months old didn't need decarbing at all. And to decarb oils just put in vial in dark for 100 days and should be done. I guess this way there is no Burning off of terpines and other goodies that can go to waste.
Seems like a very good way to do things if you are patient. don't waste a thing.

Well Im going to re-make that butter. I figure it was decarbing when not needed is why they came out so weak. Using the 3 sticks of green and one new, I am adding 39g of new sugar leaves and popcorn from the woods. decarbed at 250 for 27 min and it smells like crap, I think it had some sort of mold but it smells sort of like a sweaty nutsack/ prunes. (I noticed my sugar leaf bag smelling weird a week or so ago.) Going to stick with the croc pot method. I don't have the patients to watch a simmering pot for 4 hours. I would rather come check on it every few hours. should be super strong because of the traces in it already and its a decent amount going in. hope for the best.

I do the cockpot myself. I do it in the backyard do the house doesn't stink lol.

Well that's it for the year. A nice song to fade into the winter. Ive been way more into edibles than smoking. I took one hit the other day after 5 without smoking and I got a sore throat. Ive been coughing up nasty looking loogies. all the crust in my lungs breaking down. A turning point In my life I guess. keep the lungs fresh. Ill be around, just not nearly as often. Happy hibernation those on this half of the planet

LOL, I tried to switch my style up and make the stove top butter ..I think ill stick with the croc pot. I got it way too hot, had it bubbling pretty hard at one point and I wouldn't be surprised if I cooked the THC away. I didn't even go the full hour, put it in the fridge overnight before heating/sifting the next day. Ive still got a little while before I cook with it, but I have a feeling it might be a placebo.. we shall see.
Anyone protesting about these police killers? The brown case was fine with me, no problems here. But Killing the big fella because he was selling loose cigs. That's a hell of a reason to choke a man to death.
I remember one time I was having a seizure (the only 3 seconds I remember) I was screaming while a cop was sitting on my chest and I couldn't breath in at all. I said I cant breath and he just kept pressing and I blacked out again. But that was some scary shit. could have happened to me too I guess. And I don't really see this as a race issue, its more of a "police state" And they are above the laws. If you kill someone by accident that's still manslaughter.

I don't want to hear anyone defending the cop, im sure his buddies in the union changed some details on the police report to help him out a bit.

Overweight or not in australia a choke hold like that would only be acceptable if he was trying to reach for a weapon of some kind or the cop genuinely KNEW his or his buddys lives were at risk and I think the video shows plainly he had his palms upturned and was not resisting.

I would have much rather heard of a taser killing a man than one getting his life choked out of him. At least then you could say the cop was just doing his job. And his heart really was weak... Strangling a man to death when you have 2 other officers with you is not acceptable. health issues or not, he was strangled to death.

I finally tried some of my new butter (on the stove and not so smooth) The way I did it called for no water, leaving the bud in to cool, reheat then strain.
I didn't expect anything, but it does get the job done (not the strongest). I will never try it again, I spoiled myself with the easy croc method. But I wont be keeping it on for the 20+ hours I usually do. After seeing that 40 min can work I think 12-14 hours would be plenty. (that's when I usually stop smelling the chronic in the air)
I also like having the water under the butter when it hardens, the bottom is up off the container after It drains. With this new method I had to separate the sides like usual but also the whole bottom of the dish.

Its official, I no longer smoke...I took a break and just had edibles. Coughed up all the shit in my lungs. (ive smoked damn near every day for 6+ years, and occasionally 5 years before that. (11 total)) and every time ive even taken one hit it was not enjoyable. 4 puffs over the last month and im over it.

And Ive also noticed it takes a full 2 hours for the edibles to even start kick in, I usually hear 90 min is average. Its more like a medicine now. I eat one midmorning and one in the afternoon. keeps a smile on my face. bud seems to be lasting longer if I can keep up the low dose. I recommend it.
