Today marks a new “ multi “ grow ….. I will have a couple of grows growing under HLG lights. Lights and rigs designed and built by me .
Each rig will be shown with various plants running as perpetuals. I have been a long time user of Horticulture Lighting Group since the beginning.

Each rig and supplemental rigs will be HLG products only. Each grow will highlight both autos and photos .
I will run a SOG style 12/12 , a 18/6 autoflower grow and a photo cycle grow. Strains will vary - Ethos / Dutch Passion / Barney’s/ My crosses.

For this grow will also include hempy buckets and soil.

QB products for these various grows : QB 304’s / QB 96’s / QB 225 / QB 288’s
I wanna give props to HLG for years of great customer service and products ….. looking forward to what you guys dream up next.

First Grow :

QB96 ( 320 watt )
Strain : Ayahuasca Purple ( Barney’s )
2 plants in layered peat mix
Dry fertilizer : Recipe 420 ( 6-8-4 )
Tap Water

SOG style plants are 12/12 from seed and one has began to flower , other hasn’t shown yet ( nail biting :bigjoint: )

Second / Third grow :

Strains : Cherry Soda Twist ( Cherry do si do x BCS Black Cherry soda ) - my cross.
Ethos Endgame R2 ( S1 ) - I selfed last grow of this strain for seeds. ( STS reverse lower branches )

These solo cup grows will be also layered soil mixes. They will be transplanted into 1 gallon bags.

Update - Motor Breath Clone

Well she hit the end of line and got cut and hung. I did “ some “ leaf snipping on her and will trim her up in a day or so.

Today’s RH is 57% which ain’t bad - considering we are in a heat wave in the west and has been dry as shit lately. So i will have to try to keep her drying under watch.

I have a few more smaller containers to chop down during this week so , i will be able to shut down another tent during this ridiculous heat wave. It will push me to do a hood cleaning and prepare what other strains to run. I have 2 more flowering tents going - one at last few weeks / other a bit longer.

Sweet earthy pungent aroma off of this hanging girl.

Well , it time to “ get a growin “ …. :bigjoint:

Started the seeds in rooters and have had 4 out of 5 sprout - the other one i’m still waiting on.

2 will be coco and the other 2 will be soil. Soil solo cups were amended with Pumice / Dynomyco and Terp Tea “ grow “.

Coco cups have been precharged with calmag. And a simple light feed solution. Light cycle will be standard 18/6.

I tend to lurk the local swap meet on weekends.
I have seen and posted various lights and gear found on my excursions. HPS , led rigs , grow equipment and sometimes some sesh gear :bigjoint:

Well found this little double bubbler on a table for 10 bucks. Offered the meathead 8 bucks and he threw in the extra stem. No chips or damage !

He had another silicon bong but liked the glass.

Did some glass cleaning and will give it another deep clean before use.

Update - Blackbird


Today , i fired her up in my 3x3 for 4 plants
( 2 Banana Blaze autos ) - coco
( 1 Wonder Pie - topped ) - coco
( 1 Maximus Eurethrus - soil )

Coco is around 750 ppm / 5.85 ph current feed
Soil plant ( maximus eurethrus ) is on the PEE.
( that plant will be highlighted in the “ P. I. S. S. Method thread )

Well , been a little bit since I moved these plants to the Blackbird rig.

Front Left - Maximus Eurethus ( pee plant :bigjoint: ) - topped and growing some funky fan leaf.

Front Right - Wonder Pie - this little lady for some reason is flowering even tho i am running 18/6 cycle.
Perfect example of breeder mistakes that can happen ( mixup ) or just unrefined strain. The seeds were in original blister pack. Supposed to be a regular.

Rear - 2 ) Banana Blaze Autoflowers

Solo Cups - 2 “ tester “ strains

Ok … took the 2 testers out of the grow area with the ViparSpectra XS1500 pro and fired up the QB96 / Sunblaster rig.
Had to flip a grow in the room so they had to go into a continuing veg cycle tent.

I had to do a cleanup of tent as it was unused for a bit ( dust ) - pinsesol /Lysol on surfaces and pulled drip pan.
Testers are Black Cherry Soda x Deep Chunk ( buddy of mine slings crosses ) so always have a chance to explore some interesting
mixes. Anyways , they will get up potted after turkey day .

Blackbird - last sunday

Flipped these plants ( i will talk about that flowering one in a minute ) …. Maximus ( pee plant :mrgreen: ) is getting flipped . She has been a good girl about the golden showers and actually has some yellow tips showing - hilarious :bigjoint:.

The air layering project on her failed but no worries as she will just stay ad she is. I plan to better setup my next air layer project in the future.

She is the only one in soil.

The 2 bushy ones are Banana Blaze “ autos “ which didn’t transition so i treated them as regulars … pruned topped and they took it well. So they are probably not autos after all - who cares ?

Now the “ flowering “ one - that is a Wonder Pie “ regular “ which oddly flowered on its own under 18/6 … SMH. Anyhoot - since she is already been flowering a flip to 12/12 shouldn’t impact her too much since she is blooming anyways.

Maximus Urethrus may get put under a separate 12/12 light in same room if those other plants grow out - we will see.

Pee plant will be highlighted in the PISS METHOD thread as she moves forward and plan to still Tinkle her Terps. :bigjoint:

All popped :hump: and put in their Solo cup cribs.

These will be soil grows - new layered mix.
They are in Dynomyco infused Recipe 420 only.
FFOF will either top dressed or aerated tea ( cheesecloth soil bag ) .

They are getting the “ Pee be Free “ DIY piss foliar spray. Light misting of course.

Tester plants ( A and B )

These were transplanted last Thursday and really began to take off. However. There are some structure differences between them that’s evident - node length / etc. Feeding is a breeze ( pee foliar with armor si ) and GH Maxigrow - ( 787-800 ppm ) @ 5.85 ph. Tap water.

Hydroguard is mixed in once a week.

HLG 96 Quantum’s and Sun Blaster T5HO Pure Par Veg flouro tubes ( 18/6 light cycle ) .
