i had to. but i went a lil crazy with it. i did lollipop them also.
lollypopping them is one thing but taking all those leaves off can and will take the plants energy stores away,

i wont trim them anymore. if i'm right then they basically JUST went into flower so i still have a few more weeks or vegging.
i know in aero they grow ridiculous, always any strain i run the side branches surpass main stalks,

i was totally unprepared for the amount of growth. blew me away.
just trim lower 1/4-1/3 and take 1-2 fan leaves off per week deep into flowering to get to the lower sites, a setup like ours is perfect for a scrog too, these systems make a perfect blanket of bud

when i put the real supports up i was thinking about a scrog since they cant be moved anyway.

ok i took down the 1000w over the new system and put up a 600w hps in it's place. totally happy. the other one has a cool tube and i need to do a few things to make the switch but the 600 is ready. i was gonna go with 4 600's but have decided to go with 2 on light movers. i want to see if i can hit 2 lb's on 1 system with 24 plants in it with a light mover. if so, then i'll fall in love with myself all over again and nobody will like me except gypsy. hehehe but seriously i think i can hit it. then i will have already documented how to get 2 lb's every harvest off 1 600w hps on a light mover and my godlike status will be cemented. (there i go again) or everyone will laugh and point wich i'm already used to.
 
then when i put the 250 mh in with the moms and replace the other 1k i will have a 1450w grow room. kickin' out pounds. cant wait.

now i have 2 1000w light set ups and 2 2x4 F&D trays (no tubs) to get rid of or trade.

gonna go take pics now. i forgot to earlier.

toodles everyone. bugs here. and here is what i'm up to tonight.


this is the 1000w switchable ballast with vented hood bla,bla,bla i took down and am now gonna get rid of.














and here is an extra 6" cool tube just lying around. and the one i've been useing for a while. it has a 1k light in it also. it's the cheap budget one though. and it's gotta go!!:clap:



and here is the 600 i rewired tonight and put into action.the light mover needs some tlc and when i get the rest of the pvc for supports in i will be using it. i will be getting another one for the other 600 shortly. it hasnt been an hour and the temp has dropped 3 degrees!!!

and here is the aero/nft only a few days after the butchering!!!! someone was saying something about....going to far? :-P

and here are the moms i flowered in my trays. hopefully they will be the last batch inb there. as i plan to have the other aero/nft system put in very soon. they may even hit the ground and have to be hand watered till they finish. but not for a couple weeks yet.

anyeway that's what's going on in my world guys-n-gals.

no worries. it's a room in the back of an attatched garage. 9x14x8 with a seperate room next to it that is 9x6x8 for all my stuff. still kind of a work in progress after all this time. but that's part of the reason i did this thread. oh and that rooms' ceiling and the roof of the garage has about 4' of vertical space in between them. makes for a damned fine air cushion.
all looks well and live in there :p

Lookin nice.. im about to buy a much smaller aero unit for a much smaller area but the same kinda deal. Im gonna try to SOG a bunch of plants in a 3'x3' area from clone to flower.. subscribed
 
ok i got the key to pandora's box, i put some trainwreck thru absolute hell, aero cloner too long with root rot and thrips, i chopped em down and all this hell caused them to grow out 3 finger fan leaves, this plant is certainly trying to revege, i dont know what the light situtation right now is if its 12/12 but i would wait until she is showing lots of 5 finger blades and up to begin flowering, shock plus a light leak would have caused this fer sure

just make sure you plan out the runs correctly. you know...indicas every 2 weeks = 4 runs or sativas every 3 weeks = 3 runs.

dammit man...sorry to hear that. i was a bit confused readig this post. wasnt sure if you were talking about my shit in there somewhere towards the end or yours. either way.....dammit man.:-(


on a sunnier note.......................WE HAVE BUDS!!!!! liluns, but buds none the less. the light was the problem......duh! :wall: so now i will have a 9 week-ish flowering preceeded by a 6 week veg in my aero/nft. should be fucking ridiculous!
 
wich is a good thing considering i just got popped at work again this morning and should undoubtedly fail the test. and since it's my 2nd one......bye bye paycheck. but like i said i think i just believe in myself that much as a grower that i'll be able to make rent+ stuff. hehehehehehejhe..............oh fuck me!

sorry to hear about work, are you union of any type?...so anyways thats what i was getting at, when you go from 5 finger leaves back down to three the plant is thinking its trying to reveg..forget flower altogether, that lighting messed up its internal clock

oh ok ...gotcha! ya, they are ok now but the light definately screwed with em'. i manage to get 3 bladed fan leaves quite often and haven't had issues. but i hear ya. no union where i'm at. but i failed a drug test twice now so i'm done for. no biggie.....that's what back up plans are for.
 
it's official.......our threshold is 15 nanograms and i popped at 57. fired. yay for early retirement. getting a loan big enough to fund the op being finished. will be doing it this weekend most likely. totally taking pics. cant wait to get started.
