Bugs?

I'm pretty sure they're gnats, but annoying as hell. And growing in numbers. They don't appear to be damaging anything, but I'm not real fond of having them take over my house as I can imagine they will. Is this common for a closet grow? Is there some witches brew I can concoct up, or something I can buy to kill them off without damaging my "Product"

Thanks.

Yeah . . . sounds like fungus gnats. Pretty common and, unless they take over, fairly harmless. To rid your grow of these 5 day lifespan gnats, place slice(s) of raw potato On your soils surface. Wait a while. Lift. If you have fungus gnats, the larva will infest the potato slice(s). Toss the old in the toilet and replace. When you come up clean twice, consider them gone (for now)
These are a improper watering pests, brought about by not allowing your soil to dry out enough between waterings.

IF they get a foothold and you don't fix the problem, these will eat your roots. Pass this fix on.

This info is great. They can cause problems. The larvae eat the roots and your plants yellow. How do i know this? My plants are yellow. I let them get out of controll. They multiply fast. Real fast.

I think we all get gnats now and then. It's inevitable. Most beat 'em as the soil dries out on top, where the adults lay.
