Bugs.

Have you ever had white bugs on your plants? They are very small hairy creatures. Can they do a lot of damage ? thanx

I've just killed 2 of them while they were HAVING SEX on my female!!! These motherfucking bugs were fucking doggystyle on the stem of my female plant.

heh, thats kinda funny. as for the bugs.. umm. small white and hairy, im drawing a blank. only bug problem ive ran into at all so far was a couple spiders which actually helped the bug problem id say.. and some small fruit flies suckin up molases water from my soil. observe the plant close, watch for damage. try to figure out what the little buggers are and then divise a way to make em dead. ill give my grow bible a butchers and see if i can find your wee white hairy nasties

could use a bit more info as well. how many legs did it have. wings? shell? no? any other usefull info. maybe a pic!

Have no camera The bugs were flat and orange. They had two hairs ahead. Initially they were on the branches and stem but later on they moved up the stem and started to have sex. It was easy to see them using magnifying glass. It doen't seem like they did any damage to the plant, but having sex on my female plant???!!!
I'm going to examine the plant again

if they were banging on your plants there will probably be more. no wings i take it since you didnt mention it and said they were flat. were they crunchy? like shells crunching or kind squishy when you killed em. from the info it seems to be a mealybug. or maybe an aphid. go on google and search for mealybug on image and see if thats the guy?

This was the motherfucker! But there were also those orange bugs. For sure it was the mealybug

so there was TWO? goddamn it the orange ones will have to wait.. i gotta go cut my grass. but i hit that one right on eh? and bloody quick! ill check into the orange one later. the mealy bugs will suck the sap outta yous plants. not good. and they poop this honeydew stuff that atracts ants and promote mildew/mold.

my advice to off the fuckers is,

get some get some ivory soap, alcohol, and a bit of tobacco. make some soapy water add a few table spoons of rubbing alcohol and spray it on the plants. if that doesnt do it. take a ciggerette and soak it in hot water and add a bit of the water to the mix.

Can anyone tell me what kind of bugs I have?

They look fairly small - size of a small fly....shape of a triangle almost.

They have wings that seem to fold under and when they travel or try to get away they do it in "giant leaps".

Does anyone know what kind of bug I speak of

I have no idea Add a picture if you can so that we will be able to recognize the enemy I am not going to apply these techniques now ERY. I'll try to get rid of them "manually" and if it doen't work I'll will go on your advice

finished, i think my face got sunburned. do the wings of the yet pegged bug have small stripes? as it is i figure the other one is either leafhoppers, triphs, or least likely aphids. if you see stripes its probabyl leafhoppers, if not probably triphs. or well maybe aphids again

ps drinking while cutting grass in hot ass weather with high humidity sucks the balls of syphlitic donkeys

scales look quite triangular. check them on google as well. how did i forget

I think they are leafhoppers!

They are very fast on their feet and wont hesitate to "hop" off unless they have to. They are quick at evading by using line of sight, HAHA!

Are these potentially dangerous to my plant or not?

There is MINIMAL bug damage on my plant - nothing too serious to worry about.



I did have a bug problem in the past that forced me to clip a few leaves.



After a transplant that problem never came back thankfully.


So what should I do about leafhoppers and the occasional housefly on my plant?

My outdoor plants are being attacked by candy-striped leafhoppers. They leave holes in the leaves about the size of a grain of rice. They also love new growth. I will be heading to the hydro shop for the least harmful spray I can find. I was hoping for an 'organic' solution, since my girl is on a Veganic diet. I'm so bummed over this.
