Temps are decent, but I'm surprised how fast it heats up in there. I do run at 100% and I can put my hand right up to the COB, but the A/C comes on every 15 min for about 8-9 min.

Have been considering turning down the rheostat and lowering the lights to 16" above canopy. This will save on power costs all around

Awesome, Yes, I too ended up using screws as well for the insulfoam. I finally finished the insulation on Saturday and on Saturday night I used so many cans of Gap Filler, LOL. Yesterday the Orca Film went up and the intake fan and filter were installed as well. LOL on the spray foam filler. We had a huge pile of empties by the end. I still find bits of it all over the yard.

FWIW, my recommendation for this time of year is 9p-9a not 8-8 which is what I used to do. Days like today, temps rise until 5 or 6, so it sometimes not fully cooled by 8. Also, it is very rarely warm at 9 AM

This is my first indoor setup since 1988, so I don't have much experience without A/C. I did try using the FAN ONLY setting of the AC unit during the winter, and it worked fine, but not sure If that would work now. 100 degree days coming where I am.

The lights themselves are very cool, but the room heats up quickly, which the dehumidifier contributes to (I keep RH at 35% once the flowers show up).

My power costs are a little higher than I'd like, about $100/mo. I'm considering turning down the rheostat on the lights and lowering them closer to the plants. This will save on both the lights and (hopefully) cooling
