They might drop one of the felony counts and the misdemeanor, but, and I HATE TO SAY THIS, you're screwed. As someone else said, if you're on financial aid for school, kiss that goodbye to start. A felony stays with you for life, you have two on the same charge, that's automatically double sentence. If they drop one, consider yourself lucky. There are many ways this could play out, your best bet is to get a good lawyer that deals mainly or solely with drug charges, some of them are quite good at dealing with judges and prosecutors. I don't want to scare you, but in Iowa, they're pretty damned strict so you may end up actually doing a short stretch of time, maybe 30-90 days, plus probation, community service, and all the fines and fees that go with being a criminal.
