I was planning this too, have some clones now for it. But I was gonna wait till March 1st. It seems too cold and wet in Feb really. Especially for you up in the N Ca!!And theres just over 12 hrs of day March 1st so I should be good. Glad to see this post tho, I made a thread awhile back and got no help.

You say you have them outside and they been outside for a month now. How much direct sun do they get outside in a day ? Also would by chance a night light be coming on around these plants to keep them from going into flower? I have seen plants with that problem down in your area. You might want to read Mel Frank my friend in my climate it works. The Bay Area

The plants i will be putting out in february are already about a foot tall. So they will be good and ready by then to flower from the change of photoperiod.

I had 4 plants outdoors in central FL, West Coast. They were successful but im pretty sure they reverted back, I did mine from Jan to April and had to bring them in sometimes cause of weather, one hermied and caused some seedage, but bud had nice quality high. Good Luck. im going for a guerilla grow this year from march-sep/oct. All plants from bagseed, one plant, short indica kind of like one big bud. while it was alive it had pink hairs and smelled really fruity, was best of all, abt 14g dry inc. seeds. They all were in conts. and were relatively small

Folks obviously this is alot of manipulation of the plant. I'm sure you will not get the yield of a summer harvest but you will good smoke. My goal is to grow year round and have good smoke and stay away from the dispensary. I just put a rack outside to finish flowering in a diy greenhouse. Stau tuned will post pics in a week of the rack outdoors.

what if you were to build a little visqueen roof over them to keep 'em dry and warmer< like a green house then throw 'em outside now? I've got 6 bubba kush that are 12-16" tall ready to roll but no room inside. WTF

Go for it should work as long as you can keep the wind and rain at bay. Been fighting the wind and rain all week. I have some outside in a Aero set up.

take some notes from the valley growers weed is a weed.

you can protect the plant and plant earlier if you keep it out of wind and freeze. put 4 stakes into the ground and by some foil backed insulation its like foam then put some cheese cloth.

im a landscape contractor try it you might like for a 2 month early jump start

also keep well drained due to percipitiation rates, we live in sandy soil so excessive water is not an issue, but more frequent fertilizings are important.

well drained but no virtual npk factor due to leaching. a good drip irrigation system with a filter and regulator. the filter can act as the dispenser for you growth addatives. you can even put seperate drip rates to help slow and enhance growth.
