Wouldn't worry about the size too much as it makes it up with bud head numbers. Quite positive it will pull 2 grams a watt maybe a bit more.
Gonna be a bitch cos there's twice the number of buds and there smaller because of the roasting they had, shit happens.

Hi was mulling this over in the bath half hour or so ago LOL. This is a first test at this wattage, got a feeling its 440 and not 480 that's what the drivers are rated at. As this was a cock up will do it again to find a truer figure. then step up 160 watts too 600 (if real is 440) or 120 if not, give that a go. then give 800 watts a go.

Noticed the trichs on the last grow that was only vegged and a few weeks flower of led then hps. did a bit of wet harvesting my scissors were dripping.
Seems the pistols are a bit longer as well.

They seem to work for me but had to do some research to get actual quality ones. I definitely believe they make a difference but probably not for how much they cost. I never try and push uv on anyone. I grow at home for a hobby and have so much fun with it and experimenting here and there.

Your entitled to your opinion but as back up How many threads with problems are soil, the variety of problems is huge and remedies varied, results much more so But thats just my opinion.

Well if you want to get technical your way of growing is the worst thing we could ever do for our environment. I grow notill which keeps all the essential carbon atoms basically a key to life for microorganisms. You're plants are extracting the co2 and when the roots put out the carbon it is going immediately back into the atmosphere.

Anyways sorry for the rant. Just a bit of reading and building your own soil you will never go back. I do not even need to ph anymore or mix and measure bottles of salt I mean nutrients like I'm working in a lab or something. Many people have problems due to lack of knowledge and want to be soon fed information or refuse to swallow their pride.

Commercially I run soil and nothing but no real issues.

would love you to bring your rant further and explain how hydro is the worse and my roots releasing carbon, do you have evidence of this? never heard that one before.

With what i use I do not P.H. just use a self PH ing nutrient and its sweet asa nut threw the P.H. meter out about 15 years ago. i grow by numbers and follow the E.C meter
Static protects against high E.C readings IT has increased the tolerances many fold. and does not burn the roots

My incredibly difficult 3 part top up routine.
1/ Roll joint fill bucket with 10 litres of water while filling add A nutrient @ 4 ml per litre. Add B nutrient @ 4 ml per litre
2/ once full put that in nute tank .Come down smoke joint.
3/Joint smoked go up check readings. Job done
Sweet asa nut.
Did have it simpler but some fucker stopped there one part nute,
find this really boring as had to buy another syringe as dont like mixing the two neat.
This has made me so so much more work LOL
