Can anyone tell me what this is???

This is my first time doing DWC. Things have been going good so far until I noticed my little seedling started showing white on the edge of her leaves and I can't tell whether it's getting nutrient burn (btw I'm using "GENERALORGANICS" GO BOX) or early signs of root rot because I changed resivoir about a day or two ago from regular 6.0pH water to water with the nutrients.

OMG! You can't do DWC with the GOBox man.

I wish you were right in front of me so I could slap you upside of your head!

I bought one of those 5 years ago and tossed it to the curb 3 months later. Buy more crap like that and support Scotts Miracle-Gro/Mon$atan/Bayer who are aiming to take over pot seeds like they have with their other GMO projects that have killed millions and bankrupt millions more.

Hi LipLopWTF - the plant is too young for nutes yet. Prolly nute burn. Should have left it in rooter cube a while longer to maybe. Anywhoo, change rez again. Water and CalMag only Ph'd to about 5.8. PPM should be under 200. Wait it out and see if she survives. You don' need to add nutes until the feeder leaves drop off. She should have at least 2 or 3 new sets of leaves/nodes before that happens. Good luck!

Hey man, thank you so much for the advice! I'll take your word for it and do just that for now I'll most likely post an update on how she's doing. It's Pineapple Express btw lol. Thank you!!

I DWC to. OldMed is correct though, you should not use organics in dwc unless its compost tea to fix a root rot issue, etc. Find a good 3part nute like GH or Advanced Micro, Grow, Bloom and use at 1/4 strength to start, then half strength if they do good and so on. There are great youtubers that can help. Check out Medgrower1, HygroHybrid, NvClosetMedGrower, VaderOG, for great teaching. Keep us posted on your progress. Peace.

Yoooooo, I know it's been a while but here is my update that i promised! And thanks to you my friend that she's thriving and looking beautiful. I gave her a nice new resivior and I'm now using the 3-part GH with a little bit of cal-mag.

Beautiful! You'll know when she's hungry when the leaves start to lighten up. Then use your 3 part nutes, 300PPM Veg / 650 PPM Bloom.
I noticed you are running led lighting. Most plants are calmag whores under led. Just fyi. Update us again in a month. Good luck!
