Can i shut off all my fans including extractor during night to stop temps dropping?

My temps are dropping to a stunting 50 degrees when the lights are off in flowering!.
Could i shut off all my fans during the time that the lights are off to stop the temps getting so low? How would this affect the plants?
Need a quick answer coz id like to setup the fans on a timer tonight if i can..

you should put you fans on a thermostadt so they kick on and off as needed.... :joint:

I dont know If I would shut them all off but as long as the temp isnt going 40 or below there is no damage being done.

I kno nick but i dont currently have a thermostat like that.. im jus havin to work with it manually. They have been on the whole time 24/7 but now its jus come to mind if i even need them on during the dark period.
I think it would really help things out if i could shut them off but im wondering what damage it will do to the plants... wil they be able to breath?

They are in a 4x4 grow tent.. wid the ventilation hole nd dat to put a fan on the end. and i hav another fan jus pointing at the plants.
I dont wanna suffocate them tho

help please

in a tent you might..i know in a place besides a tent, more open..It doesn't matter, atleast to not any extent i know of.

in an enlosed space they need a constant supply of fresh air and thats what the exhaust is doing...you could try running 15 on 15 off during the night cycle. i keep my exhaust going 24/7 when im worried about temps i stick a heater near my intake....

In veg I would shut everything down after 18hrs, never had a problem.

arrrgh i really dont kno what to do.. i think i might just have to deal with the cold because i heard that the air for a grow tent/space should be changed every 20 mins or so unless u have a ventilation fan constantly replacing the air like mine..
but ill see if any experienced growers come along and have anything to say...

on the flip side those low temps during the dark will create some nice colors towards the end of flowering..

im goin to try find away to have them turnin off nd on during night cycle if not il jus stick to how it is i meen theyve got this far without many problems i jus thought they may benefit for a bit more warmth at night o wel there used to it now.. thanks for your help people!

shutting down the fans isnt really going to make the temps go up that much...unless you have an intake of cold air coming from outside. If that is the case, i may shut it down occasionally.
